:) A much needed tiny urban park along an otherwise bland stretch of mostly pretend discount and recycled goods shopping road. Absolutely NOT child friendly as no safety fencing to stop entry to the busy traffic buzzing past. No public washrooms exist within a km of this park with the nearest possible clean public bathroom at the library up the road to the North (calle Zaragoza). Luckily local bars have inexpensive drink for those that would normally use a public space to relieve themselves. This park sits at a busy intersection. Think those two streets that intersect in every city that has the all the discount shops, cafes, pizzerias and various character bars crammed inside and between high density / low income housing units slowing traffic to a crawl along major arterial connections with piss poor parking management within the surrounding whole area clogging and blocking everything. These streets calle Don Pedro Infinito meeting called Zaragoza is where you can find this park. Midway along calle Don Pedro Infinito running East / West of the park edge meets at the intersection with calle Zaragoza running North / South at the last of its South run. These are the two major artery roads in these upper local neighborhood collections and major connectors to the far areas of city even less travelled by tourists. Here is a light tourist zone, mainly visiting students living in affordable rent with heavy local traffic shopping and life zone. This little park , or Plazoleta, can be populated with its share of characters depending on the time of day. For the most part everyone is tame with the odd bout of raspy, scratchy Canarian bellowing of someone's name by someone who has yet to embrace civility or mobile phone technology for communication to get the attention of someone from far away for something. The litte park is well kept despite repeated attempts to vandalise it and graffiti it regularly by pent up local youth with little for challenging schools or programs to distract them and even less places to go - despite living in a major tourist city - as local transit is not free - which should be for everyone thanks to tourism dollars well spent - and walking / cycling connections don't happen yet in heavily local poor neighbourhoods. Walking can be seriously difficult safely to downright dangerous in some spots here and throughout the whole non-tourist city because sidewalks give way to no repair to over crowding by illegal parked cars. Since almost nothing is done to compel parking garages in buildings to remain open. Almost all parking garages have closed in low income zones or where never built spilling car parking traffic everywhere as Hugh density zones get the poorest transit with the transit that does arrive travelling nowhere near to the main employment areas. Main excuse for no parking garage usage is damage, drug use, occupation by car sleepers including lack of hired security, repair, maintainance or control of spaces. Further added too by zero control of community finance payments to fraud and corruption. A heavy reflection of what happens regularly in public government. No parked cars here in this little park due to strategic plant boxes. This little park must have a few guardian angels as it gets restored / repainted and cleaned probably the fastest of any urban park in the city. Of course this could do with the huge traffic volume that does pass by this park regularly and how - if left unsightly - would negatively level on the area as a whole (which as a whole needs a huge makeover or at least enforcement of parking laws & loss of street parking to better walking and cycling connection) This park is mainly used as a seating area for the areas elderly, and as a spot for smokers to congregate since smoking has been banned indoors. Other users include pedestrians going to shops and other parks. It is also a hub spot for bus stop traffic returning from work etc. Located along both the #32 and #33 Municipal Bus Routes (The Yellow GuaGua buses). Has a mailbox, good luck finding stamps!

Lo malo es que a veces se ponen gente a emborracharse y armar jaleo, pero es un buen sitio para poder descansar después de caminar e incluso conversar.
