Free Motion Bikecenter - Las Palmas

I had a great experience with free motion Las Palmas. Great bike and service, bike was maintained very well! Enjoyed the rides and environment so much, definitely recommend!

:) They have the prevention anti puncture Slime. Great price for bottle and for maintenance shop to place the slime into the bicycles tire tubes. We are always very happy with the quick tune-ups and brakes repairs here and would recommend them highly if your looking for fast, professional work if you need your repairs done quickly. Thank you Free Motion. Great if you are looking for good bicycle repairs and are willing to pay (avg. €20 per bicycle per tune-up) they can provide same day service to 24hrs later if they have parts etc on site. It was nice for them to accept our very old borrow bikes we did bring them and get back well tuned machines (including a free bell on our bike that was busted). They also provide access, sales and rentals to top of the line new bicycles and electric bicycles and equipment and as well rentals and rent to own options. For our hostel bicycles - which are very old 2nd hand low performance machines - that we lend out for free to guests - we normally send them out for discount parts, tune-ups repairs to Carefour in Las Arenas and wait a couple of months for the work and service to be completed to keep costs low. In high season we can come here to Free Motion & at around €20 per bicycle get the brakes & bicycles in good working order and tuned. This new year 2022, we have had now x2 same day gear tune-ups and brakes adjustments done in the last 48hrs at Free Motion as our current x2 available house borrow bicycles needed quick repairs. Our other set of old x3 borrow bicycles await larger work & parts at Carefour Since November 2021 and should be ready in February 2022. The climate, sea air, and guests wear and tear take their toll on our free borrow bike fleet. With the city of Las Palmas adding kilometers of new bicycle trails each month cycling is becoming more and more enjoyable & safe in Las Palmas city. Here on Gran Canaria we notice that brake lines especially seem to stretch and wear quickly with lots of use and dues to the climate and hilly terrain, bad drivers requiring good brakes to stop quickly. We are very happy with Free Motions same day tune-ups and quick turnaround. We highly recommend Free Motion - especially if your bicycle is top of the line - for repairs and service. My bike was ready upon arrival, perfectly adjusted to my indicated size. Very good prices for the quality and service you are getting here when renting a road bike. When I will be back, I'm sure I'll rent my bike here again.

I was renting road bike for 21 days during my stay at Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. In planning phase i was looking for rental bike i came across free motion company and because of good reviews i decided to rent it at Free Motion. Everything went smoothly from rental to return of bike. Great and friendly team in Las Palmas Free Motion store who speaks English fluently. Team from Las Palmas Free Motion even helped me with 2 punctures that happened during my rental and one check of the breaks when I brought it in before one longer and hilly ride.
When i come next time to Canary islands for holidays if I will rent the bike it will be from Free Motion bike center 😊

Free motion have a great team and offer high quality services. I have rented bikes here on multiple occasions, bought one of their ex-rental bikes and used their bike maintenance service on multiple occasions.
In all of these cases I've been extremely impressed by the kindness and dedication of their team and the high quality services that they offer.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to rent the bike on site that day. But thanks to the advice of the friendly staff, I was able to pick up the bike I wanted from a branch the next day. It was agreed that I can then return the bike to the Las Palmas branch. That worked without any problems. Reasonable price, top bikes, helmet for only 3 € rental fee there was also.

Brilliant bike, and kind service. Be sure about which of the business locations you're dealing with. And if you want a short booking, discuss this possibility in advance of turning up.

The bikes are spotless and working like a Swiss clock. On top of that, all the guys are friendly, very helpful, and quick to solve any issues or give you guidance. Especially Jürgen, who is ex-pro rider, gave me lots of good tips for the route and we had a really nice chat after the ride. Don't even try to go anywhere else!
