Interesting and lovely place to visit. Right in the centre of the old town, which is just brilliant. Stroll around, visiting world-class sites like the cathedral (Game of Thrones filmed here), the old cathedral (next door), and the city walls, a must. You can get a ticket which includes both cathedrals and the Girona Museum of Art. If art isn't your thing, the building is worth seeing anway as it was The Bishop's Palace. The baths date from the 1100s and have undergone sympathetic restoration. Only 15 minutes to go round but well worth it.

Small, very well preserved, very old and beautiful. Great place to hide from hot sun and crowds and make some great photos

Amazing experience walking around the old town. Highly recommend it. The Jewish quarter is a must and if you are able go up and walk around the city walls. Amazing views.

You may only need 30 minutes to walk through the baths and read the plaques, but it’s worth the effort to stop if you’re in the area. No need to buy tickets in advance. You pay 3€ to enter when you show up at the door.

Interesting place, very nice ancient atmosphere inside. It's pretty small, we spent there about 10 minutes, and it's maximum honestly. But the entrance ticket is quite cheap (3 euro per person) so I don't have any regrets. The person who sells tickets was very friendly and welcoming.

One of the most complete remain of the arab thermal culture. It has all the rooms expected in a thermal bath, calidarium, tepidarium etc.the structure is there, the pipes and heating system too, but not a single tile arrived from the past.

Banys Àrabs in Girona - we want to turn back time !
At the Plaça de les Jurats are the Arab baths of great historical value as they are the only building with this function in the Iberian Peninsula. Despite its name, it is in fact a 12th-13th-century Christian facility that mimics the structure of the Muslim public services, inheritors of the Roman baths.
The Romanesque complex, very well preserved, conserves all the elements of a public bathing resort and invites relaxation and distraction. The entrance leads to the locker rooms, a spacious anteroom intended for entertaining.
The great room of the cold baths was the frigidarium, built with vaults in tuff rock. You can enjoy a hot bath in the caldarium and lukewarm steam baths and massages in the tepidarium.
In the center is an octagonal pool surrounded by Romanesque columns with Corinthian chapters. These pillars hold a cylinder with a lantern through which the sun's rays come in, illuminating the whole area.
In an external courtyard was the concave and tiled boiler, from where a pipe led into the caldarium.
These baths ceased to function in the 16th century and fell into the hands of the administration in 1929, who commissioned Rafael Masó and Emili Blanc to renovate them.

Awesome place, we got in for 4 euros, me and by daughter. It is known for being the set of Braavos in game of thrones

The baths are small enough and there's a €3 entry fee but it's worth it

Well presented Romanesque building, giving you a great insight of how they worked and what they would have been like back in the day.
Costs a few euros to look around (students get a discount) and only takes around 30 minutes of so to see it all.
Well worth a visit while you're in Girona, especially if you're a Game of Thrones fan.

This 2000 year old Roman bathhouse is well preserved. Only one compartment has been less preserved. In every compartment there is a sign that explains how everything worked and what the use of that compartment was. Overall I recommend it when you plan a visit to Girona. So it is worth the money.

Beautiful architectural gem that stands still. Gives you a picture of how life was back in those days. Even though the place was was built by Christians, it became arab baths as the Jews used it mostly for bathing purposes later

Beautiful old baths, definitely worth a visit. The way the place has been fixed is fantastic as it does not interfere with the building but allows you to go into all the rooms and have a great view of the roof.

Stunning architectural elements that are fitting for Arya or any King of Westeros to be honest. The bath is only for historical representation and you cannot "take a dip" without infuriating the gate attendant. Spend about ten minutes inside but keep the memories of the crystal pool for life.
