Restaurante El Guachinche

Very nice food. We had garbanzada and the grilled cheese. The portions are large and the prices are really good.

My self and wife stopped here on the way to the Barronco valley, let me start with the service that was polite and friendly, then the food was amazing, fresh & tasty we had the Canary cheese starter then shark main and a chicken main ( sorry I don't rmever the full names of the dishes) but all three was fantastic then we had the house wine which was sweet and fruity. When asked for the name of the wine, I was told it was blanco arico, which is made in Tenerife, a new favourite of mine!

Highly recommended eating here!

And the price was great value as well 2 mains, 1 starter and a bottle house wine 32 euro 😊

Completly authentic canaria foods, and good prices, really good place

We loved it. They only have local authentic cuisine, very tasty. Great to discover what culinary wise the island can offer.
It is a no-frills restaurant, which they feel very proud of as the huge statement on the front door reminds us. Customer service may not be great but the food is.

We went to this place with one goal in mind, to taste their "Bichillo Canario". We drove 40min to do so and it was a good decision. Great food for a great value.

Excellent food, I tried tuna with potatoes and shark! Fried cheese- amazing (especially with garlic souse)))). Special respect for local coffee 👍

The food is very good here! They offer local recipes and the taste is delicious. Definitely would recommend eating here if you are nearby.

Very yummy authentic homemade food from the islands. The waiter was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is great with a welcoming Terrace.
The village where it is situated is very worth to visit.

Primera vez visitando el lugar y espero que no sea la última.
El lugar es muy agradable, la comida canaria, tratada con mucho mimo, muy rica y la de toda la vida de verdad y el trato de todo el personal desde que llegamos, hasta que nos fuimos, un espectáculo.
Se agradece que hagan todo con tanto cariño porque eso marca la diferencia.

Fuimos a comer atraídos por las excelentes referencias. No nos ha defraudado. Comida canaria con toques personales e innovadores. Ropa vieja deliciosa y nada aceitosa y sancocho muy interesante y distinto a los clásicos de Gran Canaria. Por fin un barraquito como dios manda. Enhorabuena. Volveremos a probar otros platos.
