Learning about ceramics & pottery with Juan is just wonderful. He is a very patient & relaxed teacher who encourages you to be creative. The environment at Ceramica Jaral is very relaxed & you can find yourself in the workshop with some very lovely people. It’s my chill out place! Come along & join us … you’ll love it!

Always wanted to work with clay? Ceramica El Jaral is the place to learn the skills and techniques. Working on the wheel making functional objects or creating hand built sculptures. Juan will teach you how to do it. You can make anything you want. Juan will be around to assist with every help you need. He is very talented, calm and patient. The workspace is very pleasant, lots of tools, a couple of wheels, different clays, various glaze colours and of course a kiln. Everything to create your artwork.

Juan at Ceramica El Jaral is an amazing teacher. Very patient with excellent English, happy to leave you to create or to help guide you through. Very well stocked with different clays, glazing and tools you can let your imagination loose!

I try to go to the studio once a week. Juan is a fantastic teacher and mentor to our mixed bag of talent and experience. It really is so wonderful to work in clay with such a great teacher. It's is the highlight of my week.

Incredible. I can't say more than that. Juan is a master potter, very helpful, with a lot of imagination and a way of teaching that I really love. He has a great sense of humour and he never leaves you without help if you need it. I don't know if he will agree with me, but I think I have improved a lot under his tutelage...
