Lorraine, Carol, Suzie, and the rest of the team deserve all the credit for their exceptional customer service. I keep coming back to Gong again and again, and each time, I'm greeted with the same high-quality dishes and outstanding service. It's a testament to the consistency and dedication of the entire team, from the kitchen to the dining room. Whether you're a local resident or a traveller passing through Playa Flamenca, a visit to Gong is a must. So much so, despite feeling full after my first two courses, I just had to eat the next course, the main course as it was absolutely delish!!!

Getting a reservation at Gong is like trying to break into Fort Knox. If you are lucky enough to get in you will be amazed. The food is amazing, really three dimensional, colour, texture and taste. The service is great, not always fast because they are so busy, but always courteous, attentive and with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming even when the restaurant is full (as it always is). The rapport quality and price is excellent. Highly recommended.

Best meal I've had in a very long time. We had the veggie/vegan tasting menu (plus one of our party was gluten free). Five courses of amazing, incredible flavours - and the main course had 4 different dishes! So much food and such good value (€28 each for the food.) Staff were super helpful and attentive. You need to book waaaay in advance.

Very very good food (so delicious) nice personnel. We reserved a table a few days before we wanted to eat there. We went with our two children and everyone was so nice and really considerate with them. If you can, go there. It's a real treat on every level.

Beautiful fresh flavoursome food. Not rushed had plenty of time to chat between courses. Waitresses asked if we would like a break between course which was lovely. Speak english. Would definitely recommend. Need to book weeks in advance due to how brilliant they are! 4 adults eating.

So our previous visits was in May when things were not so hectic. Now in late July there's a lot more customers and more to go wrong. And it's decided to rain, IN Spain!
Well, the service is still excellent. The chef should be commended on producing exceptional quality and delicious food at a more than reasonable price.
If I had a restaurant I would was the Maitre D'hotel to be working with me. The whole team function well and it's an indication of great management.

Great meal; I loved it. The whole table’s plates were cleaned off. The staff are brilliant, they sang happy birthday for my niece, and were just lovely. Would highly recommend it, but remember to book ahead.

Loved this restaurant, food was so tasty. Had the special menu for €16.95 which had two starters, main, side dish and a dessert €3 supplement on one of the dishes. Restaurant was really busy but the owner still took the time to come and say hello to diners. Every dish got your mouth watering. Can't wait to go back.

We go to Gong every time we're in the area and it never fails to impress us. Service is friendly and efficient, the choice and quality of the food is excellent.
We recommend booking well in advance as it is quite rightly very popular. Always a warm welcome from the team.
The menu is extensive, we regularly eat tapas style with the smaller plates but can also recommend the tasting menus.

This place is a must to visit, amazing in every way. Food totally fabulous, flavours so different from the usual, service cannot be beaten, makes you feel so welcome. Just a delight to be there.

Me and my partner decided we fancied a Thai after having to cut our holiday in Thailand short over new year due to a family bereavement in Spain. I am so glad we found this little gem of a place. Lorraine was so kind and friendly as were the other waiting staff. The food was top notch and the massaman curry was prob the best we have ever had. We will certainly be returning ASAP. I’ve heard it gets busy so would recommend booking in advance so not to miss out.

Perhaps the best restaurant in Alicante, hidden away in a touristy, non-assuming shopping center by the highway. A family-run shop, Lorraine and her crew (which includes her close family) are absolute class acts. Wonderful Asian fusion dishes presented using French techniques. Korean, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese flavours and more. Easily half the price of what the same dishes would have been in London or New York.

We ordered two appetizers and two main dishes and were sent an additional complimentary dish that the chef wanted us to try. Everything we were looking for in a cozy and sophisticated restaurant, and more.

PS. Reserve a table a head of time. Bring cash for the tip. Splurge when you're there, you won't regret it. Give Lorraine our love.

I have waited for some time to visit this very well reviewed restaurante. It is usually booked well in advance but an unusual spell of bad weather meant a table was available on the Terrace. The wait was worth it. The flavours the kitchen manage to produce are incredible. Service efficient and friendly, choice of dishes just amazing. The portions are generous and we were amazed at the number of options available. It was a lovely evening enhanced by the attention of the waiting team.
