Worthy to visit and learn a bit more about the region and the medieval time. Perfect for a weekend getaway with children or without.

Employees: Very kind and patient. We arrived 10 minutes before they close. As it was our last day in the town, they stay and wait for us until we finish the visit. (Many thanks!)

Stunning building overlooking the town. Lit up at night its beautiful. The views out over the hills seeing just olive trees. One of my favourite views

Interesting and well preserved castle with access to almost all areas and towers. Views from the towers were also great. Friendly staff who opened all doors to us although it was cold and off-season with only the two of visiting the castle!

Fantastic views and walks around the castle - parking is easy up here. Close to the main square with cafes and some shops.

Return visit and very pleased with the new extras added. I bought ticket from i office. Great little castle.

The woman on the gate that took the money and issued the audio was lovely. The castle was fabulous. The toilets were clean. Great value for money.

Muy amable la chica de la recepción, que te explica todo sobre cómo hacer la visita genial. Muy bien restaurado, recorrido ameno, fantásticas reproducciones de los personajes de la época, me encantó la zona de la Torre del Homenaje, el refectorio y el aljibe major. También la reproducción de los artilugios bélicos utilizados en la época. Y además, excelentes vistas donde se aprecia la magnitud de Alcaudete y se tiene una icónica vista de Sierra Ahillos. Pasar por Alcaudete de visita y no visitar su castillo calatravo es una pena, la verdad.

Impresionante lugar. Hice una visita interior y fue una pasada. Mucha historia. Se vende entrada y vale 6 euros por persona con audioguia incluido. Es una maravilla. Visita obligada si estáis por la zona.

Precioso Castillo situado en lo alto de la población de Alcaudete.
Dejé mi coche aparcado en la carretera y subi callejeando por su casco antiguo hasta la esplanada del Castillo y donde también se encuentra la bonita iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor.
Aunque no pude visitarlo por dentro, si que pasee por fuera de sus murallas.
Es del siglo XIII y se encuentra muy bien conservado. Cabe destacar también, la fantástica vista que desde ahí se disfruta.

Un castillo muy bonito y cuidado,el chico que atiende en la entrada es muy amable y nos ha explicado todo con gran detalle,gracias a él hemos podido valorar mucho mejor la experiencia de visitar este lugar. Merece la pena pasearse por el castillo y sus alrededores ya que es un lugar muy bonito y digno de contemplar.
