Botanical Garden Entrada Superior

We loved this place! Amazing views, really spectacular plants and trees, especially the cool cacti! And it’s free! The restaurant is high on the hill- fantastic food! It’s very popular with the locals at around 14.00. Quite upmarket- highly recommend!

For some reason Google makes a difference between the upper- and lower entrance of this place. For my comments on the Botanical Garden please refer to the review I wrote about that. Actually I'd say that it's a good idea to start the visit from here so you may have an upper view on the Gardens and it's much easier to walk downward than the contrary. My wife and myself did so only because we decided to get there by taxi and the driver made his own choice to drop us off there. Free entrance (April 2024)

Was amazing !! Loved it !! Was beautiful and just felt so relax. Walking around. Up and down can be a bit of a chalenge. But was so worth it !! Love it and will remember this place !

Great find. Free Entry. Wear good walking shoes as there are lots of steap steps to clime. A worthwhile visit

Extensive gardens. Your unlikely to see everything. Bring a pack lunch (hidden out of sight) unless your ready for a climb and a half to the cafe!

Fantastic just watch out at the senior entrance is a steep non accessible walk, if you have a buggy/wheelchair go to the junior entrance down the hill

Also the restaurant/cafe was amazing, try the goat and rabbit carina style

Very nice cactus collection. Huuuge park, you can get lost even though it is pretty well marked with signs. Very "natural" meaning the opposite of an English garden. Count 3-4 hours minimum to make the tour

Beautiful place which is completely free!
However it does require a bit of hiking up/down the mountain.
There are SO MANY species of cacti and other plants! It's really beautiful!
Recommend going in the morning :)

Very interesting place with contrasting planted areas. The cactus garden was the stand-out area for us, but also the steep rockface area is fun to explore. The nearby botanical garden restaurant is a great place to treat yourself to a meal afterwards. Try to get a table inside with a view over the valley

Very beautiful gardens and all for free. Some parts give the feeling of Jurassic park with huge dragon trees. Cactuses are amazing. Loved it

We arrived shortly before closing and during winter. But it was still beautiful. Prepare for a hike though, half the park is on a very, very steep hill side.
I recommend coming earlier in the day and bring a picnic. The restaurant at the top of the park is extremely over priced.

Such a lovely place, the cacti and succulent garden is otherworldly. We visited in February and the gardens are open until 18.00, last entry at 17.00.

Peaceful and quiet, birds singing. It’s huge so be ready to get lost in there but then that’s the beauty of it

Lovely gardens the biggest cactus I've ever seen( an I have been to Sedona USA and New Mexico)

Beautiful place all in bloom, has it's both neater and wilder parts. Spectacular views especially in the succulent plants section. Worth having a trip, even on a rainy day as we did.
