Lovely little place just off the "main" road... if you didn't know it was there you would never spot it.
We didn't have a reservation but they managed to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday afternoon... had a couple of canas and some of the best tapas I've ever tasted... remember, this is the Granada region so tapas is free with alcohol!
Ordered grilled octopus on fried potatoes with a sweet peanut sauce and pork with a goats cheese sauce and fries.
Both meals were absolutely incredible, honestly delicious. The pork was super tender and whilst the sauce was strong, it was very tasty... and the fires were to die for! Octopus was similarly delicious, really soft and perfectly seasoned.
Cost was 40 euros for 4 beers and 2 main meals, which was a very pleasant surprise as the specials didn't have any prices.
Really nice place and highly recommended.

Eaten there a few times and everything from the atmosphere to the food is great. Amazing goats cheese salad. Best to book in advance, especially if you want an outdoors table

Third time in here and always a great experience from A to Z. Just make sure you make a reservation as the place is not too big and it seems to be on the top list of many. But the atmosphere is not crowded and the service is spit on.

We just love this place. A mix of traditional and interesting delicacies on the menue, all we tried so far just yummy.
Even the Pizza is delicious.

This is a family run business, by Paco, his wife & son. The food and waitress service is excellent and so are the prices. The wines are of good quality and at very reasonable prices. The location is delightful, perfect for lunch, evening meal or just drinks served with free traditional Spanish tapas.

For me the best restaurant in Velez. I come often in the village and it's lucky to have a place of that quality 👍👍👍 Most of the waiters are very kind and helpful.

Celebrated my 60th Birthday at Nacimiento. Food was fantastic, staff were fantastic. Brother-in-law, hedge fund manager from the States, said it was the best meal he'd ever had! Can't wait to go back in June.

We visited the restaurant four times during our stay in Velez, and each occasion was excellent. The food was wonderful, the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful with my poor Spanish. Great atmosphere, great wine, great food. Thank you to all the staff!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was delicious. I would thoughly recommend this restaurant. Children can also enjoy the running water and fish pond with crystal clear waters running off the hills.
