Camping La Aldea

Stayed in our campervan. Good facilities, very clean and large plots. Easy walk into the amazing village of El Rocio.

Amazing, so close to the nature reserves and the staff are lovely. I stayed for a university trip and loved every day

Ideally placed to explore the Donana national park. Half full when we arrived on 15 October (the Sunday after Spanish national day), much quieter on the 16th. Smaller shower block closed except for the laundry and chemical toilet facilities. Larger shower block open and very clean, good size showers with lateral jets that don't soak your belongings. Friendly reception with limited English. Small shop with basic meal ingredients and household items. Restaurant self-service and reasonably priced. Good size pitches for motorhomes.

An excellent campsite. I was going to be a bit hard on the place until I discovered that I had paid for two nights 😅 The staff, all of them, are warm and welcoming. The pitches, of which there are many, are of good size, level and well spaced. We did not avail of EHU as we have a good solar set up. The toilets and showers are fine and spotlessly clean. Bar and restaurant is okay and reasonably priced. We ate in there last night, not fine dining but decent food cooked well. Would we go back? Most certainly if we visit El Rocio in the future.

We booked 2 nights at the campsite with our motorhome & stayed for 4. We had a good sized pitch & enjoyed the lovely hot showers.We absolutely loved the El Rocio experience & didn't want to leave, we'll definitely be back!

Lovely shower and toilet facilities. Very sandy site. Nice size pitches as we have a very large tent! Very close to El Rocio and the bird spotters nature reserve paradise!

Loved it! We rented the 1br cabin, and it was very well done. Great location, and we also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The facility has a lot of glamping perks - camp store, pool, playground.

The people at reception are friendly and helpful , toilets are clean. The ablutions blocks are tidy and well maintained and it's a pretty good price too . We got a tent site for €21 ... Could be cheaper but the wonderful town of El Rocio made up for it .

One-stop fully equipped facility: Has a massive clean ground for campers and on-transit travelers. Plenty of space for on site parking, wonderful restaurant serving three course Spanish cuisine, warm staff and 24/7 high speed WiFi. Also has beautiful hostel blocks (single beds and bunk beds) with fully fitted kitchens, common areas, heating facilities (Al Dea can get really cold at times) suitable for students, individual travellers (backpackers), group/mass tourists or families (hostels). Stayed there for a week and Loved it!

We have stopped there during our road trip in June 2019. There you have all facilities needed for a trip with caravan car (water refill, electricity, drop of dirty water and waste). Also you have toilets, showers, washing machines, swimming pool, etc. It cost 20€ for a caravan with 2 people, 7€ for extra people. The place is very close to El Rocio. We would recommend the place.

Very nice camp site. Very clean and tidy. Although the road are all dirt roads, they have a van regularly damping down to avoiding too much dust. Really nice pool área. Great on-site restaurante. Nice food and good prices. The bungalows are nice as well and have good facilities

What an experience! I will never forget this quirky place! Good bar, good camping facilities, and a friendly place. Pitches are sand, so you do need a tarpaulin or doormat to stop the sand entering the motorhome, but they are of a good size and it felt private and almost all of them had sun and shade.
The town of El Rocio has to be seen to be believed and this campsite is in very easy walking distance. The only downside would be the 'wild' dogs barking at night, but that seems to be a common occurrence in both Spain and Portugal, so not the campsites fault so to speak.
I would definitely go back!

The campsite has excellent facilities, motor home service point, restaurant, swimming pool and small shop, excellent reception.Our receptions in Spain have been first class but the young lady here excelled herself. Where is it that I have read that it takes fewer muscles to smile than frown. The only negative is that shade is a little limited.

.Tip Avoid this campsite in late May/early June, when the town has its traditional romerio, when unbelievably something like a million people descend on the town and it also seems like as many horses as well. If you could get in you will find that campsite fees will rise tenfold.

Great camping about 5 minutes drive from El Rocio.

Everything well maintained, green and with a nice pool area.

We didn't try the restaurant, but were very happy with the campgrounds and small store.

Fantastic location beutiful lake nearby taste of the wild west roads of sand can imagine a Clint Eastwood movie being made there

Like walking in to a wild west movie set roads all sand there are horse pulling carriages round the town

Stayed here just for one night pleasant staff very helpful
