Love this place… been here three times now as stayed at campsite nearby… a hidden gem in the middle of a beautiful pine forest landscape… food, service and drinks amazing!! Will be back soon 👍😍🤩🥂🍷⛺🥰

My wife and I rental a car for a day to drive up the volcano.

We found this restaurant on Google maps and I'm glad we came here. The place is lovely, the staff all friendly and it's lovely inside.

Great place up in the mountains and perfect for a visit to Roque Nublo!

I had an amazing chickpea stew with some smoked meat in it, I truly loved it! When you order be aware, that the portions are quite big and they will bring you as a starter delicious freshly baked buns with butter, so first order rather a bit less and then you’ll get it basically right.

I was so glad to come to La Cumbra on my beautiful drive up to Pico de las Nieves. The chickpea and sausage stew I had for lunch with a beer was the best meal I had during my time on Gran Canaria. It was a wonderful change from the high-traffic tourist restaurants I had eaten in most frequently. The stew had a delicious flavour, with what tasted like local sausage and fresh spices.

Besides the delicious food, I was thrilled to be sitting in the shade of a huge tree and looking across the road at the pine trees. Very scenic and peaceful.

A nice stop few minutes away from main area attractions. The grill vegetables were very tasty and the staff friendly ☺

Just stop off on the off chance of a quick cuppa and sandwich on way to Le Roque Nublo and couldn't fault the service and foid

This is an excellent place to stop whilst exploring the amazing countryside.
The food and service were excellent.
We had Garbanaza, a chick pea based dish. Sweet black pudding, with almonds, some other local sausage with a particularly rich flavour.
Finally we shared goat meat, which was a good mixture of different goat meat cuts plus kidney and liver, served with a potato and a tomato. I want to go back to try the ribs and pork chops. As when I passed the open fire where they were cooking, they looked tremendous (far better than the restaurants own photos) The wine list looked most inviting with most reasonable pricing, hopefully next time I won't be the driver.
I'd rate this place in the top bracket of places I've visited not just in the Canaries but from all my travels, short menu, considered options, full marks.

Everything we had tasted amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely. Great authentically rustic atmosphere. Not sure why this place isn’t rated higher. Do stop off here if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it!

Friendly service, tidy and clean, good food.

I had the pork chop which was massive and only 9 euro, one of the best meals I had in Gran Canaria as I was staying in the tourist area. lovely setting too. I would highly recommend.

Very friendly atmosphere, with welcoming staff. Open solution with plenty of tables. The food was allright, and if you're in the neighborhood, I can recommend stopping.

After the hike to Roque Nublo we had a very good sirloin with very good service😊 recommended!

Home made local dishes. The lamb shank cooked on its own broth is exceptional!
