Herretar Auto

In August we had a 2 week family driving holiday to Portugal. Unfortunally on the way back (3rd September) the alternator stopped charging the battery so the car had no power. It was a Saturday afternoon so panick set in. A guy from the Galp station gave the phone number from Herretar and within 10 minutes they were there. Couldn't be fixed until Monday as they needed to order the part but they promised us the car would be ready by 12pm on Monday. They then found us a hotel and arranged a taxy to drop us off and pick us up at 11am Monday. True to their word! They quoted us close to 700 euros but final bill was in the mid 500s. Showed me the old part and then new part fitted in the car. I want to say "THANK" to everyone at Herretar, especially the brothers for being so helpfull and reassuring👍👌 . Without your help our story would be completely different.

Really professional and helpful, way more than the insurance. Thanks to them we can continue our journey.

Our engine in our 1982 VW camper was starting to overheat and went here. They were two people in the shop and they jumped straight on it and fixed it. Its not the easiest engine to get to but they managed to change a broken pipe and in 35-40 min we were back on the road and without having to spend a fortune. Great service!!!

A perfect service in a time of distress. My car gave me a low engine oil pressure warning during a trip from England to Portugal. Got their number from Google maps, explain the situation, they sort out the towing and a cab to take me to the garage, kids could relax in the waiting room watching cartoons while they start fixing the car. They open the carter and clean the filter inside, clean the inside the engine, add new oil new filter and gave me the keys so I could continue in my journey and enjoy my holidays. Couldn't be any better. Amazing job! Thank you very much.
