Restaurante “Molino de Palacios”

Really friendly service. We came here last minute with no reservation and they graciously made room for us, despite a full dining room. I loved our experience here, and definitely recommend making a reservation in advance so that you can enjoy this restaurant.

A traditional restaurant in Peñafiel with authentic food and variety of wine selection. Although I did not make a reservation and walked in, they tried to make a table for me and served the food with warm heart. As the food and wine with its authentic atmosphere, I had to return the restaurant and Noemi and her colleagues organised to reserve a table for me for following day and had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy their food once more. Highly recommend this place for anyone who travels/visits to Peñafiel and wish you would not miss this fantastic chance.

Great restaurant in this wine region. We had the artichoke salad and their specialty lamb dish. Both were very tasty but what sets this place apart is the beautiful ambiance. The restaurant is built right on top of the river that runs thru the town! Very special place.

Lamb lovers haven. Nose to tail slow roasted lamb and other regional specialities like kidneys, hare, blood sausages. Good wine list with very reasonable prices. Friendly attentive service in a rustic stone-walled restaurant at an old mill, with seating looking out onto the garden and river. Bring your wine and coffee outside for a 100% experience. Great for dates and big groups.

Was amazing lunch. Welcoming owner/manager who spoke good English helped to get a flavour of local food, excellent wines and warm hospitality. The restaurant is in nice location and very special decoration . Must stop there if you around.

Everything was excellent. Great food, great ambience, and fantastic service.

Gather, you mutton eaters. This is the place for you. Full flavored, comfort food, mostly meat, sauce and sausages.

But they try to accomodating vegans and vegetarians, have nice gf break, just in case.

So cozy up on a cold winter day, or ask yo eat outside, next to the river and enjoy the fresh air.

Spectacular meal. Slow roasted tender juicy lamb, assorted with other specialities from the region or Spain like morcilla (black pudding) and croquetas.
As you can see from the check, it’s not expensive compared to other restaurants in its cathegory: we were a party of six, shared two plates of 1/4 lamb plus entrées, two bottles of wine and desserts, and got off for 200€.
Scenery is also fantastic, being it an old watermill.
I highly highly recommend it.

Although we did not have a reservation they could seat our party of three. Very hospitable and with several English speaking staff members. Great local dishes. Beautifull 'ambiance' with a nice view on the working water wheel below the restaurant through the glass floor.

Very picturesque restaurant right on the Duero River. They specialize in baby lamb, which was very tender and perfectly cooked. The tomato salad was also simple but satisfying. The service is warm and attentive without smothering and they have a good selection of wines from the area. Would recommend to anyone visiting Peñafiel.

This is a terrific place to eat. Atmospherically set in an old mill next to a stream. Rustic architecture and great food. You have to order the lamb in advance...it was delicious. We had quite a big group and they catered for us with no problem.

What a beautiful place and settling. Great food, and great service. The bean stew was to die for and I have not stopped thinking about it.

Great local place with friendly atmosphere, wide range of wines and delicious food! We got its speciality, turkey and baby lamb, both tasted fantastic. Highly recommended!

Very nice and friendly people. Food is very typical for the region. Special is lamb. Lamb chops, lamb salad, lamb with veggies. Great open wines and all in a beautiful old watermill

it was a great restaurant to have lunch and rest while visiting the different wine cellars. the food was great, one of the best lamb roast I have had. but the best was having patxaran with friends by the river
