One of our favourite places in San Sebastian. Staff are super friendly and speak great English. Try the spaghetti squid and the prawns as well as the slow cooked egg WOW!!. The dishes are modern and the chef clearly has a passion for his food. Can't wait to come back !! Oh and try the sangria, it's the best in San Seb

Great owners, happy to introduce some dishes to us. The squid spaghetti, the squid ink orzos and the oxtail tacos were outstanding, better than some restaurants. The main event was the Pulpo, which was also great.

Charlie is an exceptional host and offers an excellent experience. The Pulpo (Octopus) and oxtail tacos are delicious! This place is a must visit if you’re in San Sebastián, please don’t miss out on an opportunity to experience this amazing and beautiful service and food!

We enjoyed a great dinner here. Everything we tried was really tasty, while the Pulpo and the ravioli were our highlights.

Hi Guys! We are the Aussie couple who dined with you on 3 occasions whilst in SAN Sebastian in July ‘23. You made us feel so welcome and your passion was infectious. The squid pasta is sublime! We didn’t realise that it’s not grain based pasta, but squid somehow shredded to make a pasta feel. Everything on your menu was superb and you deserve all the accolades you get. You were able to work so hard and get to this level through the COVID disaster. We have friends who will visit you in June, and they’ll be bringing a good bottle of Australian Shiraz to say thank you🍷🍷🍷

Went here early and was able to grab a seat easily. Highly recommend the:
*Txipigettis: Squids with shape of spaghettis and bolognesa.
*Ravioli: Made with a leaks sauce and filled with king prawn.
*Slow boiled egg with potatoes pure, mushrooms, crunchy cured ham and panko with paprika

Pintxos is a little more expensive than others in old town but a different class. Quick, casual, friendly. Awesome dishes.

One of the best restaurants we've been to - ever! Everything was delicious!! Our favorites were Txipiguetti and Puntalete!

Our favorite pintxos spot in San Sebastian, started the night there and tried pretty much everything on the menu and ended up there at the end of the night for some music and drinks

Authentic modern basque cuisine. Good produce, imaginative dishes. Not the best place for kids, generally a lot of young adults. The staff are welcoming, fun and attentive. This seems in large part due to a hard-working, passionate owner/manager.

Love this place!! Food is amazing. We had the octopus, orzo, and txipiguettis. All great, we came back again to enjoy it a second time. Staff is cool and friendly, wine was good.
Gets warm inside if the place is crowded but otherwise 10/10.

Delicious food and excellent service. The off menu tomatoes with olive oil and onions were life changing. The octopus and chuleta were great too.

Hard to overstate how delicious this was. The squid pasta bolognese was an experience unto itself, as I’ve never had “noodles” that were actually squid. The seafood ravioli in a cream sauce simultaneously delicate and deeply flavorful. We went back a second time to have it again! Oxtail tacos were also delicious and perfectly executed.

Went here twice while in San Sebastian. A great, modern bar in the heart of old town. Definitely try the octopus and the squidghetti

Absolute must when in San Sebastian. Incredible food. I have been several times, eaten different things every time and never been disappointed. The staff is also friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Really friendly staff and some amazing pintxos. Two standouts: the sous vide egg, with ham, mushrooms and parmentier potatoes was a top five pinxos in the city for me, and the tortilla casually sitting on the bar was - whisper it - better then the tortilla from bar nestor over the road, that has people (including us) queuing for an hour in the rain to get a sniff of it.

Only one thing - the oxtail sandwich in a lot of the reviews is now a taco and given there are a couple of dedicated specialist taco joints in Donostia, seems an odd change. Change it back!

A hidden gem that tourists haven’t yet discovered. Not to be missed. The best octopus in Spain hands down. 5 stars!!

This place is absolutely amazing ended up coming here 3 times while in San Sebastian. Everything comes from the kitchen and is spectacular. Try the Sangria

One of our favorite pintxo spots on our trip! The txipiguetti (a bolognese made entirely of squid)and the huevos a Baja temperatura are excellent!! The decor is also really cool. You must go here!!
