A must visit if in the area you can understand why the Romans built a settlement here if only for the stunning 360degrees views from the top amazing ...a little overgrown when we visited but that just added to the charm the amphitheatre takes you back to a time you could not possibly imagine

Fantastic Roman ruins with a great feel about the place. Free entry. Lovely lady there to introduce you. There is bathrooms there.
Well worth the divert from Ronda to Sevilla. We were there an hour. It closes at 1:45 .
Good pathways with a walk up a decent slope, you could push a pushchair/ wheelchair as no stairs

Massive lump of Roman architecture. Larks singing. Stupendous views all the way to snowy peaks.

Excellent experience ! What used to be a rather large settlement in roman times is now reduced to rubble and the remains of a theater. The beauty of this place is that it is not commercially exploited..not only resulting in free entry, but also allowing you all the time in the world to take in the scenery. Access to the theater itself is restricted, you have to make do with views and photos from outside the fenced off area surrounding the theater, but it is still very much worth it.

It was beyond expectation to find such a perfect model of a once prosperous Roman town. The theatre was grand, but the baths almost unique in having kept their water collecting rooms to visit up to this day. The site deserves much more attention and tending, but the people there are super fantastic, welcoming, and helpful.

Ruins of a Roman city on a hill, with the theatre being worth the visit alone. It is a bit of a walk up mind you

If you're into ancient history, you'll love it here. Much more needs to be uncovered, but the scenery is stunning.

Pleasant views, nice ruins, free. Definitely worth seeing if you are in the Ronda area and aren't going to Merida, or want a preview.

Loved it! Incredible that it's free. Lovely man to greet you and tell you where to go. Nice parking area. And a toilet is available too. Fantastic views from the top.
It's only 5-10 minutes walk from the car park.
If you're not able to walk, you can see the main wall in the distance, from the car park.

Imposing site with a fantastic 360° view above the theatre. Huge potential for reconstruction/excavation but free of charge so won't be developed any time soon. We would have happily paid for entrance - the caretaker even refused the offer of a donation.
