Elder Museum of Science and Technology

Is it worth visiting here? Without a doubt! You will go through the encyclopedia of basically a little bit of everything. Film, aviation, electronics, earth's history, medicine, etc... Virtually every corner here is used to show visitors some knowledge. An ideal place for the whole family, especially for children. 3 levels full of great presentations, objects and information. Only 6 euros which is nothing compared to what you get for it.

It's a great little museum with a 3 story building. And there are lots of things from planetary objects to almost everything. It's amazing how they manage to show so many things in this building. It's a perfect museum for kids. There is a lot to learn at a basic level. There are also 30 minute shows about human life from stone age to till future.

One of the best museums I have ever visited. I’ve been through the ones in London and elsewhere in Europe.

I’d say the planet rooms here are the best and there’s a lot of fun interactive stuff for kids.

Fantastic little museum that focuses on interactive displays and activities to get their message across.
I thought I would be done in an hour but ended up spending 3 hours there watching 3D films, entering the planetarium and being part of the superb house of the future robot presentation.
Lots to see and do for both children and adults alike.

Really cool museum, with several floors. Lots for kids to interact with. There’s a VR for exploring Egyptian tombs or walking on a skyscraper. Theres a planetarium dome, that has shows every half hour or so, that last around ten minutes. There are other 3D movies. futuristic life demonstrations showing how the future may look, and loads more. If you’re in the area, especially with kids, then definitely check this place out, they will enjoy it for a few hours. Staff were brilliant too, more than happy to show you around or help with VR etc.. definitely worth it 👍

I'm over 65 so entrance was only €2. The museum covers 4 floors with everything from jet engines to dinosaurs. Information plaques are in Spanish but trusty Google Translate makes the experience great. Well worth a visit when in Las Palmas.

this was great... we spent hours there with small children and would love to visit again... fun, interesting, exploring, adventure, learning, discoveting, having nice time together as a family

Great scientific museum with many hands on exhibits, unfortunately many of the exhibits were only in Spanish but you can use Google translate to listen or read in your language, we spent 3 hours, plenty of informative fun, highly recommended!

Great learnings for adults and kids. There are different subjects from biology to geometry. Very spacious that allows self experimenting. Numerous exhibitions are also there. Both fun and educational. The price is very good in comparison to what they offer. Would have been even better when they add more explanations and subtitles in English.

:) Still really good. We miss a few exhibits that they used to have - the free / extra gyroscope experience especially - the robot coaster is a really neat alternative and has various levels of speed and rotation you can request beyond average :). You do have an additional charge for the robot coaster. Clean, well presented, staff professional, informative and helpful. We got lucky to have the place almost to ourselves last Sunday afternoon. Of course when the museum is empty it is a lot easier to pass through quickly and you miss the extra experience of watching others learn and explore. Highly recommended, especially for kids. Bonus: Air conditioning throughout :)

Very interesting and versatile both for adults and children. Really recommend, a must-go if visiting Las Palmas.

Compared to our last visit in 2023 there were many more expositions opened. It's very big and very interactive, almost everything can be touched and played with. Ideal for kids 4+. On Tuesday there were 2 groups of school kids but it was big enough that it was not crowded or noisy.

Fantastic place to visit. We as parents loved it so did the kids. Can learn so much. The staff were so friendly. Looking forward to visiting again

A must visit for anyone in Las Palmas... Always lots of activities and exhibitions for all to get involved with, especially for any children with an interest in science and technology.

This is a great place to go with kids over 3. It has a very playful and interactive theme running throughout. The staff are fantastic and the prices are very affordable compared to other attractions in the area. Plenty to see and the tickets are valid all day. Highly recommend.

This fabulous museum is a whole experience, from its interactive installations, to the engaging planetarium, the 3D cinema, or the different simulators that they have on display. There's just so much to see and do. It's accessible to anyone looking for an entertaining, enlightening experience, with friends or family. Almost every installation is presented both in Spanish and in English. Regarding the staff, they are a group of lovely, professional people whose kindness and predisposition to guide and share facts just make the visit to this museum even better. You can even leave the place and come back on the same day without having to buy a new ticket.

No matter how many times I visit this place, I always discover or learn something new. I totally recommend it to everyone.

Lots of puzzle games,logic games,great experience, and love the planes 😁 you can actually sit inside the cockpit of a fighter jet and commercial plane and see what it's like as a pilot 😀

Very informative in both English and Spanish.
Aimed at kids but as two adults we still enjoyed the experience.
Canarian residents discount available.
