Kakao Cafe

I'm so glad my friend and I decided to just go in (we didn't google anything or look at reviews). By far one of the best flavours in Dahab! Food chopped and cooked on the spot. We enjoyed the freshness, the rich aromas, and the beautiful sound of a home kitchen. Highly recommend Kakao and Salma's cooking!

This place is a rare gem in Dahab. Service with a smile. "Clearly" marked prices and well spoken English.

I enjoyed a hot bowl of Lentil Soup with Mini Toasts followed by a slice of yummy Honey Cake and washed it all down with some refreshing Lemon and Mint squash 🤤

This place is run professionally and feels geared more towards people that will appreciate hygiene and cleanliness. Without feeling clinical at all. It has got a cool vibe and you can tell that the people running it really care and aim to provide a quality service for their customers. Which is exactly why I intend to visit again before I leave Dahab 🥰

For info, there is no WC or WiFi.

Best place in dahab. The cold juices and the homemade desserts are a must, really amazing. The food is good to, specially the salads, and the guy is a really nice person

Very beautiful and cosy place. The owners - a young Egyptian couple - cook themselves and put a lot of love in their tasty food. Try the chocolate cake!!

First of all , I'd like to State that not all contact numbers linked to places in Dahab are working, unlike this Cafe , I really appreciated that someone picked up my call & guided me through the way as I was Lost & it's my first time in Dahab so " thanks man 🙈", Secondly the place is so cozy & the staff are so polite & helpful.
Although the place is quite tiny, yet you can have 3 varieties of seatings " high chair 2 in numbers in the entrance , 2 chairs with tables & inside the Cafe there's a cozy sofa with 2 tables " .
Also the decoration is quite nice 👌
You can get quite many options when it comes to either hot or cold drinks , besides coffee of course .
I've Also noticed someone chocolate brownies besides with soft drinks in a small fridge ..
Prices are not high compared to cafes in Dahab " will leave you the current menu with prices " .
They are open between 9:00 am till 12:00 am .

AHLAN! Kakao Café = very rare atmosphere in dahab! calm, thoughtful, creative details and different from the "hop-on-the-same-train"-style cafés in the city.
you can feel the owners love for their profession!
🥦🥒🍅vegan options available (such as burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads) 🌶🥑🥕but also meals with meat and animal products 🧀🍳- at affordable prices. PS: the lentil soup is incredible good, it's this kind of soup that warms you and makes you feel good, so tasty. wish i could eat a bowl everyday (i'm not kidding). 💛

Ally and Salma are both lovely and very hospitable. Their food is very nice. My favourite on the menu is the hummus.

Kakao is one of the best cozy & chill spots in Dahab, its a child/dog friendly space, great music selection, It has an AC small indoors & a sunny small outdoors..
The food, juices & coffees are all so yummy!!

Salma is an amazing lady, full of life & sunshine, always smiling & joyful, Definitely a creative chef,
We love her cooking,
Everytime we visit Dahab we go directly to Kakao..
Best Avocado salad I had in a long while! My son loves her cheesy-juicy burgers! best roasted seasoned potatoes!!
To my surprise the new Hummus recipe she makes is absolutely a delicious diffrent story!!!

The place has an artistic, comfy & simple decor, very artistic..

I love small cozy places. With delicious food made with love, and the welcoming manner of the owners, this cafe became my favorite in Dahab. Ginger lemon tea made me feel at home.

The hospitality is amazing, cheese burger and tuna salad a must try, baked potatoes and grilled veggies were so delicious. You can't leave Dahab without trying their carrot cake chocolate cake and brownies. Everything is really made with love that's why all the food is delicious . Thank you Salma and Aly....

Big portions, great food, nice presentation, and lovely couple. One of the best places to eat in Dahab. Especially for people who eat vegan. Not only of course. Even oil-free, gluten, and sugar free cakes :)

Lovely cozy cafe with delicious food and great coffee. The staff is kind and friendly and you can see they cook with love.

This place is a treasure! People who work there really care about what they are doing and cooking and you can just tell they cook with their heart. The menu is very good I had the burger, the cheesecake and chocolate balls and everything was so tasty! It is the kinda place where you always pass in front and always say that you should try... just gooooo! It is delicious! Thanks so much
