Shark Restaurant

Shark restaurant is a fine-dining place. It doesn't only serve the best fish in town but also all kinds of food: all kinds of grilled meat and chicken, and fried food as well. The food is very tasty, and the portions are really satisfying. You might even want to take away part of it. The place is very cosy and well-decorated, and the light isn't very bright, which accentuates the relaxing vibes of the place.
The restaurant is located on the seaside. So, my advice is to go there before sunset to soak in the captivating view. Last but not least, the staff there is super friendly. The service is truly immaculate only to add to the excellence of the place.

The best restaurant I've been in in Dahab. By far.
1. Very high food quality and variety.
2. Actually clean and nice toilet.
3. Responsive and kind staff
4. No cats and no flies
5. The bottle of water is complementary.

We went to Shark since it's ranked the highest amongst the sea line restaurants.
Instead of choosing dishes from the menu (that would probably be a bit cheaper) we took the waiter's advice (he calls himself Shahar after an Israeli comedian that looks like him), and took a 2 Kg Seafood platter of 250g fresh lobster, 250g octopus, 250g calamari, and some 12 prawns, half grilled and half sauteed. We paid 2000 Egp.

The dish was big and very tasty, a bit overcooked to my personal opinion but well seasoned.

There are a couple of very recommended seafood places that are not on the sea line so they focus only on the level of food, but sitting above the waterline and watching the full moon shimmering on the water definitely made a difference.

Recommended, and they have no hidden costs like other places do (billing for the bread and salads).

Had a really great meal here! The ambiance and service are one of the best in the area. Your first going to be paying for that as it is a bit more expensive than other places.

If you're still hungry after your main course, I highly recommend the Apple Crumble - it's a perfect ending to a delicious meal.

While you're waiting for your main course, the restaurant serves a series of small plates with different toppings to put on a piece of freshly-baked bread. It's a nice touch that keeps you from getting bored while you wait for your meal.

Finally, if you're a seafood lover, you'll appreciate the restaurant's display of the day's catch. You can choose the exact seafood you want, which is then expertly prepared by the chefs.

While this seafood restaurant is truly exceptional, it's worth mentioning that there is one potential downside: cats. While the restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, there are cats that sometimes lurk around the outdoor seating area. This can be a bit distracting or even upsetting, especially if you're not a fan of cats or simply allergic.

In fact, during our last visit, one of these cats tried to steal my wife's shrimp and ended up scratching me when I tried to intervene (help, in fact). While this was a bit of a negative experience, it's important to note that it didn't ruin our overall enjoyment of the meal.

Additionally, it's worth noting that if you're planning on visiting this restaurant during busy Israeli public holidays or any other holiday, it's highly recommended to reserve a table in advance due to the high demand. This is a popular spot among tourists, so it's important to plan ahead if you want to ensure you have a table.

Overall, this seafood restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the Dahab area. The food is exceptional, the service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.

We had a great dinner. Excellent Greek salad, calamari and shrimp for starters. Bream fish and grilled locos are highly recommended. At the end there was an amusing ceremony of washing hands with lemon juice and hot water. Wonderful service and food experience

I visited Shark three times during my stay. They serve really good food and you get good bread with three sauces and a bottle of water for free. I also got a good tea after the meal. The service is incredibly friendly and I felt really welcome every time. Everyone recognized me and did everything they could to make sure I had a nice meal. Thanks to you. I will definitely come back when I visit Dagab again.

This place wa my fav in Dahab the best food. The fish tajin was worth it so flavorful and delicious. The fried fish platter was also amazing and the Om Ali was such a good way to end the meal. Truly go hear amazing service

I’ve been to all the other high rated restaurants nearby, and Shark so far is the BEST one. Best food, best service, best price and best staff.

The shark fish restaurant is a good place to dine and the hospitality is lovely and the food is delicious, the fish is fresh ,the sea food soup is huge and great , the appetizers are good and their home made bread was.
You must have the tea on the sea view to relax after the good meal.
The red lights in the restaurant i didn't like made me not comfortable for the food.

Hands down the best food that we ate during our stay in Dahab. We ate a variety of fresh fish that we picked out. Staff are very warm and welcoming. Food is served extremely quickly compared to other places we ate. The atmosphere is great with an amazing view of the sea. Price is very good and no different to the restaurants nearby.

If you ever have the chance to to go Dahab in Egypt I highly recommend SHARK restaurant!!! The relaxed atmosphere made it extra special. The food is out of this world with many delicious dishes to choose from. The hosts were very hospitable and charming. I am definately coming back to Dahab and 100% will be coming back to shark.

Seafood in Dahab ? Then it's Shark! Great friendly service, fantastic food and with excellent quality and portions. Price is a bit high than others but you get the overall wonderful experience, ambiance, background music style and commanding views of the red sea.

The restaurant is beautiful and the staff friendly & very professional. They had lots of little attentions and provided a great service. The food was delicious and well cooked.
