This place holds a lot of nostalgia, which is part of its charm. However, nostalgia isn’t the only thing that makes this place special. As you enter, you are greeted by the beautiful traditional ladies making freshly baked baladi bread. And just as you’re taking that, you get mesmerized by the beautiful panoramic view that overseas the entire city of Cairo. In addition to this beautiful vibe, the food there is absolutely delicious and tastes like it was prepared by an Egyptian mother. The portions are very big with extremely reasonable prices. The cherry on top is the friendly and hospitable staff. I highly recommend this experience to everyone who’s seeking an authentic yet mesmerizing Egyptian dining experience.

With waiting list for about one hour. Large group more easy to go there than two persons. Atmosphere is great at that time . Minimum charge 400 EP for person.

Andrea Restaurant is a stone to those restaurants that are called the best. Definitely give it a try. You won't regret it, the grilled Quails are very tasty also the appetisers samboosak and vine leaves are beyond 👌.

This is quite a drive out from downtown Cairo but it is well worth it! The food was well prepared and well cooked. The menu is limited but in a way that helps control the quality of food that you then eat. The setting was amazing and at night quite magical, with a cooling breeze that enabled you to enjoy your meal. The waiters varied in helpfulness and therefore I wouldn’t give it five stars for service. The man who bought the food and coffee was delightful however, the guy who took our order and checked payment might consider smiling once in awhile.

A must visit in Cairo! Andrea New Giza has very well recreated the atmosphere of the old Andrea. Be prepared for waiting for a long time, specially on weekends. On a Friday afternoon at 3pm, we had to wait for an hour exactly. Do not expect high hospitality from staff or waiters when going to your seat or taking the order(which is honestly one of the few disappointments of this place). Seating is all outdoors.
Their food is lovely. As you are waiting for your order, go take a look at the bread baking ladies that bake fresh egyptian baladi bread and the grill. Astonishing operation.
Order arrived very quickly. Although options are limited in the menu compared to other Egyptian restaurants, the food is very well done. For starters, their authentic “fried” chicken wings are not to miss. The meatballs also have a different recipe. Chicken liver is also very good but normal. Other than that it’s mainly good starters. For mains, my favorite was the quails and boneless chicken which had the most flavour.
What I love about this Andrea’s new branch is that they kept the donkey where kids go play and the ice cream fridge where you can go buy ice cream cornets after your meal.
Definitely a recommended stop in Cairo/Giza, specially on a day of beautiful weather.

Andrea is one of my favorite restaurants for me that I always love to visit. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Farouj is very tasty, the marination, spices and oregano are a beautiful combination. Chicken liver is top notch. French fries Kate very good. The famous hot bread is unique and very good. And let’s not forget about the sitting that feels like a garden and the amazing Mountain View. And ofcourse the lovely service they offer. I based my ratings and review based on the food and service.

We waited for 30 min on Friday as there is no reservations but it's worth the wait, the menu is very minimal and there is a minimum charge of 300 EGP per person
The hand cut french fries is super tasty and crunchy, the grilled checked was amazing and the chicken liver as well. The salads portion is very satisfying.
The service and the staff are average.

It felt fantastic to actually enjoy some food from dining out. This week our choice was none other than Andrea! It is a famous and fabulous Egyptian restaurant with numerous locations but today we opted for their latest spot in New Giza that recently opened.

Andrea has been around since 1958 when the owner, Omar Ratib, opened it's first location near the pyramids. His chicken became so famous that he was able to open locations in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and Sahel. Items on the menu consist of grilled chicken, sausages, sambosek, vine leaves, Quail, shish tawook, etc. I opted for the grilled boneless chicken and it is no wonder why Omar has had to file lawsuits against others for copying the name of his restaurant in the hope that they will trick people into thinking they are a sister location. It was superb! I was so hungry from the time we got out of the car in the parking lot when I could smell the chicken waft in the breeze that I completely forgot to take a picture of my food! However, I did get amazing photos of the restaurant.

This location sits on a hill overlooking New Giza and Sheikh Zayed. It's gorgeous during the day but even more beautiful at night seeing the cityscape lights dance in the dark. The warm lighting in the restaurant is also gorgeous and fills you with a sense of tranquility and happiness. It's all outdoor seating and with their vast amount of plants, flowers, and trees with stone pathways with a backdrop of red painted stone walls, it feels like a little hilltop oasis.

Our daughter was especially delighted to discover that in the far side of the restaurant down a few steps was a children's play area. But that's not all, they also had a fenced in pen full of the cutest little bunnies, chickens, and ducks, in addition to there also being a donkey for the children to ride. Some children were there feeding the animals and my baby was so excited to get to ride the donkey (after she ate all her food of course. What better way to bribe a child to eat than offer a donkey ride!). I also noticed all the animals were well fed and taken care of.

I am already looking forward to coming back to Andrea and I already know I'm going for that chicken again! Just a wow experience and I give it a 5 star for everything-the food, the ambiance, the view, the service, the cleanliness, and the child friendly area. Now this is a place to take your family where you can enjoy literally EVERYTHING!

Good place for the view more than anything else. The place is inspired by the restaurants of Bloodan near Damascus, Syria. Food is OK and if hot then it’s freshly prepared & cooked. Good portions as well. Sit outside, the inside hall is boring really.
You will go more than once…

The place is very lovely and the view is marvelous and when dining iys gorgeous, the staff are good the food is delicious too, they only serve chicken mes since it's there speciality .
The only thing is there is no dessert variety there.
