Awesome restaurant with traditional Egyptian food! Excellent and very fast service, cozy atmosphere, delicious Egyptian food. We ordered a mixed barbecue plate, rice, some salads and traditional Egyptian soup Molokhia. If you order just a plain Molokhia like we did, you will get to see a Molokhia show (a video attached 😉). But they also serve Molokhia with lamb or other types of meat which is very delicious. I highly recommend this place!

El Menoufy is a top class restaurant. The food is of the highest quality and the prices are very reasonable. It is by far one of the best restaurants we have visited in the Cairo area. Mr. Imad and his team looked after us very nicely and even when our son broke a glass, we were helped in a very professional and friendly manner. So if you are looking for high-quality Egyptian food at great prices in an absolutely feel-good atmosphere, you will find it at El Menoufy. You will definitely see us more often!

Great place to have some real egypt-style meat: ox tails, kawaree, lamb chops.
There is friendly English-speaking staff and the translated menu.
The only thing to improve in the menu: to add leaf black tea (not the tea bags)

We tried both hamam and mumbar and it was so delicious. Rice was seasoned to perfection and mumbar had just the right amount of spices and was cooked perfectly. The place was so clean and the hosts were joyful and helpful and we got served in fraction of time. Highly recommended.

You can not miss eating in El Menoufy. One of the best places for grilled meat. Tasted and clean food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

The Most Delicious Taste of Kabab in The Middle East.

New branch with better ambience, although we didn’t admire all dishes but some deserves 5 stars, Mumbar, Kebab and vine leaves were delicious, kofta wasn’t the best but okay. The reason also for the 5 stars is the pricing which is very very reasonable for the food quality, quantity and service.

One of the best grill houses in Egypt. Enjoy very tasty Egyptian kabab and Kota and lots of Egyptian dishes. The service is great too.

Best grill shop in Cairo. I like their fresh, hot bread. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Recommended for people who want to try authentic egyptian food

Food & service Amazing
-a lot of noise cause of the kids playing , I would prefer to allocate the family with kids in one level and keep the rest of the place quiet
-driving to there and finding a park is a nightmare

Molokheya was very good and as it should be made.

One of best Oriental Restaurants in Cairo.
It provides various kind of food.
You can try "Menofy Plate" or mix grill.

Or "Akawy with onion "

Also you can try "Whiskey" which is "spicy water salad" (as shown in photos below)
You may pay "from 150 to 190 egp " for main course without soup or drink or salad or apirizer.
Overall, you will enjoy it.

Order took around 1 hour, meat is tender and well marinated, stuffed pigeon is soft and delicious 😋, salads are amazing too, specially the aubergine and tahini

Definitely expensive, as it's highly quality and clean, definitely recommend it for a real Egyptian authentic food
