Tree Trunk

Had dinner with friends , it was such a delight . The food was delicious, our favorite was the quesadillas and the chicken bombs. The service was very nice stuff were friendly and helpful . The decorations are out of this world , every single corner was mesmerizing!!! 10/10!!

The Place is a nice rooftop in Heliopolis. The atmosphere is amazing, the quality of service is very good and the quality of food is excellent. It won't be the last time to visit this place.

Food is perfect and vibes are so nice the only problem the roof opens after 5 pm and you have to pay again minimum charge of 200 egp even if you had food already downstairs other than this everything was perfect I totally recommend apple crumble

I used to write “cosy atmosphere” in my previous reviews of some restaurants, now I have to go back and edit my previous reviews, because tree trunk has a cosy atmosphere that I’ve not seen before.
Our waiter was Ahmed Moataz, we had just come back from a daunting trip to some government places, and we told him that we were really hungry, and I kid you not, the food was there in less than 10 minutes, hot, tasty, and beautiful. I have no idea how they could make such amazing food so quickly.
Add to that the amazing view in the classy Korba area, and the beautiful classy music playing in the background.

You should give it a try,
And especially if you are a non Egyptian, you should definitely have a walk in el Korba and give this restaurant a shot (this is an advice that you won’t get from tour guides/ tourism handlers).

I have to give some more credit to our friendly waiter, who managed to transfer his positive energy to us, make us happy, and I wanted to write this review even before I left the restaurant thanks to his professionalism.

Great Bohemian atmosphere with lanterns .. outdoors looks immersively peaceful.
Food is great but amount is small.
Service is great, mahmoud badawy helped us with all our requests.

Beautiful little spot in Korba decorated with antiques, paintings and lamps. Good for a hangout or casual dinner date. Attentive service as well from Ahmed Saed

Food was good, service by Ahmed Saeed was excellent. Atmosphere is one of a kind.

Tried the Quasedilla and Chicken Verde along with the Chicken Mushroom Soup.

I preferred the Quasedilla over the Chicken Verde but both were good.

Mushroom soup was pretty good as well.

Overall portion size is satisfying.

It’s was an amazing experience with lovely place , decoration, clean and tidy along with elegant music additional excellent staff also was professional specially Mr Badawy he is a friendly and respectful.
In conclusion it was an exquisite experience and hospitality and we will recommend the place to our friend’s

It has been a while since I enjoyed breakfast meal. The food is perfect and the vibes of the place is unique. Totally recommended and will come again for sure! ♥

Had a great time on the rooftop! Our server Ayman was very kind and welcoming to our group the entire night!

We had a great breakfast as we waited between flights—it’s a close drive from the airport and a great spot to spend a couple of hours. Food and atmosphere is great. Out server Ahmed Saed was welcoming.

We came very late but the employees were so kind. Half an hour before closing time they still made food for us and offered a great service. Especially the employee Ahmed saeed. He's doing a great job and he deserves a payment raise. Tomorrow we'll travel back to Germany but if we ever visit Egypt again that's for sure a place to recommend and to visit again! Even after closing time they still made pictures of us. Very nice thanks a lot!!!

Great atmosphere, great food, and great view. Badawi was a very good host
