Cairo International Stadium

I visited this stadium for 4 different occasions and every time i get that feeling of goosebumps from the view . I sat in 4 different parts of the stadium every position has its own vibe . I visited many stadiums across the world and this one is one of the best to be honest my favourite. Yes its a bit old not like new stadiums with new facilities but its one of the historic stadiums in the world.

Amazing location for events and concerts. Always well organised inside the hall and easy access to parking. Attended CAF matches in 2019 and several entertainment events like Disney on Ice and OVO Cirque du Soleil. Cairo International Stadium is centrally located in Nasr City and Heliopolis areas and have easy access to Metro station.

Cairo International stadium is a very nice and standard stadium with all the necessary facilities need ready to host any kind of footballing event.

So glad to finally see Cairo Stadium revamped and accommodating more than 75,000 spectators on a game days.

The atmosphere is exhilarating and the operations and logistics in and around the stadium follows a world class process. The stadium shares 3 main seating categories: CAT1, CAT2, and CAT3.

The seatings are all clean and with newly maintained seats, the seats aren't numbered themselves but tickets will have a seat number and a row number. If you can figure out your row, you can figure out your seat!

Food and beverage as well as toilets are located all around the stadium in all seating categories as well as outside in the FAN ZONE.

To enter the stadium during a game day, the EFA now follows the standard for a FAN ID in all major competition matches held in Egypt. These can be obtained online; however, they do not offer tourist visits to the stadium like other famous stadiums around the world.

I got to experience the stadium as part of the organizing media committee for the AFCON 2019 which was held in mid June to late July. I also got to venture alongside the National Team on their journey in the competition.

I attended in Cairo international stadium 3 matches in African cup of Nations tournament , this stadium is the biggest stadium in Egypt as it can occupy 75,000 person , this stadium very organized and the entrance was very easy and didn't take 5 minutes , the organizers was very friendly and the gates was numbered so we didn't take much time to reach our gate also after the matches end we take about 10 minutes only to get out of the stadium.It was great experience in this stadium.

By far the best in Egypt, easy to enter in crowded games due to having multiple roads and entrances leading to different ticket categories.

The largest stadium in Africa. This stadium terrifies the visiting teams when playing either a local team or if a local international team plays an outsider team. The roar of the audience makes the opponents tremble and lose their stamina. However in the last CAN 2019 tournament, this was not the case. For the first time CAF decided to make the competition between 24 teams, and Egypt could make a miracle to get all 6 stadiums fully equipped with the latest technological arrangements to host the tournament and gained the respect of the world for the capability to organize and secure the event in that short 5 months after the cancellation of the tournament from Morocco an Cameron. The event was delicate, elegant and very professionally organized even with the Egyptian team didn’t meet the expectations of its fans. Finally, it was a very prestigious memory one can remember he has joined these moments.

This place os a must go in Cairo, it is one of the historic places build in the 50s. Now with its reopening it became more beautiful with its blue and orange chairs. And if you go there while the egyptian national team is playing, you will be very delighted with the atmosphere as the staudium will be full with more than 80000 fans.

I really enjoyed the experience of attending AFCON match and the organizing is a very good in entrance and exits but the security check was not that good but anyways the people are nice. everything you want to buy is very expensive inside.so try to take thing from outside with you

Cairo International Stadium is very huge and beautiful and contains many stadiums and an indoor hall where all sports are held. There are beautiful gardens and large areas.

Came here to watch Disney on Ice and was pretty impressed. The place was well organized and entering wasn’t such a hassle.

Based on my experience ..it's amazing .. everything was arranged well but the problem witch everyone stuffers from is people traffic and central security men by the government .. nothing else ❤

Loved the game, loved the New Stadium and renovations, Very recommend for anyone who wants to attend matches and have fun and nice time with his friends and family

The best stadium in Egypt with 78k attendance and accessibility for wheelchair as soon as you enter the stadium I guarantee that you'll spend a lovely good time
