El Wekala Aqua Park Resort

We spent 4 nights at.El Wekala. We chose it because it has water slides and we have 2 boys of relevant ages. It was perfect. The boys enjoyed it a lot. Parents had a very pleasant quite time. The staff was very friendly. The pool staff were very professional and attentive. Food was really good as long as you are not looking for gourmet. Excellent selection of the best of Egyptian cuisine. It was easy to get.to fro. The border crossing. We will consider it again for such a vacation.

We spend a week in El Wekala. It was a family vacations. Everything was just perfect. We all enjoyed water slides and warm pool. All the people working there were very friendly and always smiling. Food was very tasty! Special thanks to the barmen working at the pool bar, lifeguards working at the slides and pool, and animation team!

Wonderful winter holiday. We stayed there 19 - 26 December with two boys. Kids loved water slides, there were always there lifeguards by the pool when the slides were on. The food was very good, some dishes were a little bit too salty though. You can have drinks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with all inclusive. There are regular buses to the beach which are free. Location of this hotel is amazing, there are mountains around and the sea. Maybe because of that there were no wind. There was not too much of animation, maybe because it was winter, but it was ok for us. There are two biliard tables with extra charge of three dollars per hour. There are many shops where you can buy anything you need from souvenir to clothes, shoes, jewelry. No need to buy bottles of water as two large bottles were left in the room every day. All in all, I will really consider to come back to this hotel next year.

This vacation exceeded all my expectations. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, helpful, polite, kind, smiling, professional and prepared. Special thanks to the following people for their excellent service: Mohanad, Wessa, Mustafa, Abdelftah, Rastmangu. Absolutely, you are the best, guys. As for the environment, our hotel room was clean and spacious, the balcony was large and the views were breathtaking as we had a view of the pool and the sea. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within the hotel that cater to all our needs. However, products labeled as handmade are worth buying only if you buy them anyway, as not all of them are actually handmade. Nonetheless, the hospitality is amazing. Everyone has contributed to making our stay as perfect as possible, even in different stores within the hotel area. We loved every moment of it. It was the perfect choice for the hotel, but be prepared for the fact that there are no sightseeing opportunities in the near, only through organized tours. However, I don't recommend EMA tours programs to anyone, they are very unorganized and we didn't get what they promised us. But all other options are cordially recommended, each age group will find its own expectations. In our case, three generations traveled together. The pool temperature was pleasant even in cooler weather, and there were frequent free shuttle buses to the beach. We were also satisfied with the dining options, it was wide variety and delicious.
I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone as I would be very happy to return there at any time. Thanks for everything!

Nice place for family, clean and comfortable, helpful staff. Food is tasty with different meals varieties. regular bus to Beach every 30mn, the beach has a beautiful mountain view, the sun light desapear in the early afternoon because of mountains near the sea.
It's good place for a peaceful family vacation.

Nice hotel. Warm swimming pool (it is heated). Kids did like water slides. Food is tasty and you have plenty of choices. Personnel are friendly and always willing to help. I will come back again to have a nice and relaxing family vacations.

The rooms were really clean and nice, the atmosphere of the El Wekala and Taba was fascinating, but the best (and most important) thing in this hotel was the stuff. (Special thanks to Mohanad, Wessa, Mustafa, Abdelftah and Rastmangu for the excellent service!) I have never met people like them before. Everyone was friendly, polite, funny and kind, they wanted to try everything to make our trip better. It was my first time in Egypt, but after these positive experiences I'm absolutely sure that I will be back there. Thank you!

It is an architecturally and aesthetically pleasing beautiful place under jagged mountains reminding of some mediaeval Moorish town in Southern Spain. Big tasteful and colorful room, nice pool, nice beach, friendly staff and a great (low) price.

Everything about my stay was amazing... The food, the rooms, the staff all of it...the things i did not like are:
1- one elevator for an entire wing, small and keeps stopping
2- not enough ramps
3- internet is only available in the lobby even though they said it will be solved on November 1
Other than that my stay was amazing

Great place , nature , service and hotel. Really big rooms in a very cool ethnic design, nice food for a 4 * hotel. To the beach going bus every 30 min, just 3 minutes away from the hotel, interesting animation program each day in a different place ( beach, mountains, foam party, colour party and so on ) Small ,but the most beautiful beach from all 4 hotels there in Taba heights, very green and cosy. Will be perfect for a nice romantic holidays or with a group of friends. There no night clubs , but if you know all possibilities of this place you will not feel boring for sure . A lot of shops and restaurants on the territory of the hotel, also pharmacy and tourist agency ( reccomend to take a trip to israel and also to Salah el deen castle with snorkeling( the one selling on the beach is not include visiting island and castle , only boat trip and snorkeling) ) breathtaking views to the sea and mountains. Can highly recommend

Absolutely loved this hotel, all the staff were brilliant, the food was excellent, it was so lovely to be able to wake up and pop downstairs to grab a coffee first thing in the morning before getting ready for breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean and our balcony was huge with a stunning view of lights amongst palm trees below and a view across the golf course to the lights of the hotels on the taba coast with the sea and mountains beyond. The pool area was perfect, and its my main criteria when looking for hotels, the pool area must make me go 'ohh wow'. The complex is just the right size, big enough to explore but not too big that its too far to get to any part of it. I loved the fact that we had the benefit of the shops at Taba Heights, but could still take the free shuttle bus to the beach whenever we wanted, which took about 10 mins max. We were pleasantly suprised that there was a private beach bar and pool belonging to the hotel when we got there, and the beach was sandy and it had those lovely thatched umbrellas and even woven windbreakers for privacy. There was an excellent area for snorkelling from a pier just a short walk along the beach, where we saw hundreds of fish with ease...what more could you ask for?? There was only one downside to the hotel, the all inclusive range of alcoholic drinks was very limited, and I found it very hard to find anything I liked to drink. If this were to improve I would definitely return, as everything else was fab.

We had really nice time at the resort all the staff was very nice especially the top manager in the restaurant also the food was amazing and Ahmed fahmy the guy which clean our room was doing his job very good,can't forget to remain the guys on the beach was coming to as and asked if we need something, we definitely come back next year with whole family....

Looks very comfy and elegant. Reminded me of elgouna, hurgada. They have bazaars, supermarkets, a pharmacy, a pizza shop and the salt cave which is manmade, but still would attract some people who are interested in the idea of getting rid of the negative energy through the exposure to salt which supposedly comes from the dead sea. There's also an area made special for concerts of famous singers and shows or belly dancing.

Excellent staff, especially Jo and Mostafa. They put the Lithuanian flag on the DJ desk and that's the most beautiful thing!
