Small maritime museum about an hour away from Tallinn. Well worth a visit. Lots of interesting items to see all set in a charming building. Admission was free and it was close to a small beach. Beautiful scenery all around. You can have a meal and refreshments here.

A very interesting place to know about sea, history of fishing! Huge collection of different things. The owner of this museum is a very charismatic man with a good sense of humour.

This is a place where the museum owner really lives so, walking here, you can see some things actually used by him mixed with museum exhibits.
At a glance, everything looks messy but, looking into details, you can see a lot of interesting things.
It is better to ask the owner more.

One of the most original maritime museums I've ever seen - a good portion of the boats hang in mid-air! Quality and presentation over quantity - imore museums around the world shoulf follow the same pattern!

A beautiful house by the sea with an astonishing view and collection of maritime artifacts. The lovely owner, who also lives there, gave me a very broad overview of the towns history and the showcased items. I would definitely recommend to stop by and have a chat with her. She also gave some helpful tips on the local hiking trails and surrounding nature. 😌👌

Interesting place to visit, especially with the lunch option here. You get to eat with the couple who owns the place and enjoy the meal with other guests. They usually provide salmon and dessert. Recommend!

Came as part of a tour day trip from Tallinn and I was really impressed with this little museum which is also a couple's home! The salmon meal which was cooker for the tour was delicious and the museum and surrounding area was very interesting. It's not every day that you can say that you've climbed a Russian-Soviet Watchtower, but this is a brilliant place to rectify that!

The smell when you walk in is unforgettable and to find out that the people who guide you around actually live in the museum makes it even more interesting. Our guide/hostess was cooking lunch in the kitchen.
If you know what you're looking for you can give some interesting historic artifacts. The village and the museum have a wonderful ambiance!

We came as part of a national park tour with traveler tours, and it was really interesting and fun to get a look at historic nautical aspects a lot of which while making perfect sense would never have crossed my mind. Aside from the museum itself, they have 2 adorable dogs that love attention and the view of the water from the back is spectacular.

Really interesting stuff, it's worth stopping there for a while to check the fishermen and sailors equipment. Visiting this museum shouldn't take more than 30 minuets, the whole stuff is not described in English.

Unique museum. The people do live there. So you are walking through their living room. Different items with maritime theme.
