I love visiting this place on summer time, it has one of the best water colour in Estonia… for me it feels like an escape tinny island 🏝Visited it yesterday again with my friends. We paid the tickets at the door by our selfs, very convenient.
I would highly recommend to visit the festivals or markets that will start in the summer season🙌
PS: Don’t swim close to the buildings or too far from the shore!

Very beautiful place! In my opinion, one of the most beautiful places in Estonia. You can climb up the mountain to see a gorgeous view of the surroundings. You can also swim in the clear lake, or you can also dive into underwater prison (which I haven't tried yet). I recommend this place to everyone, especially for photographers, because there's so much to see!

Nice place to swim and explore around. Not far from Tallinn, it's not that expensive to visit. There's toilets, bar, remember there being inflatable course on water, I believe you can rent kayak. I visited in summer.

A very interesting destination less than an hour's drive from Tallinn.

You should familiarize yourself with the interesting history of the place in advance. At least I myself never found any brochure or anything else that would have told about the history.
The water of the lake is incredibly clear and you can easily get to know it by renting a boat or a standup paddleboard. The place is also a diver's paradise.

The price level is affordable, so it is well suited as a low-budget travel destination for the whole family.
The service was good and the employees in the area were friendly and cheerful. Several of them were at work on the first day and it caused some small problems and they were solved just fine in the end.

If I could give a little criticism about the lack of signs. There were no opening hours at the gate and there was a bit of conflicting information on the internet.

Quite unique place with different attractions like SUP boards. There are changing rooms, toilets, small cafe and enough parking lots. However be ready there are no shadow to hide from the sun. The entrance is 5eur if you without car. You can pay by Apple Pay or a card.

Beautiful tranquility with crystal clear water, picturesque views of lime stone cliffs and lime stone clears water with lots of fishes too ,
Next to quarry is the old prison a next must see or visit with a tour guide.
Estonia really surprised me with such beauty.

Entrance fee 5eur. Entrance to quarry teritory is located at the main road and is marked with signs, easy to find. Territory is maintained and landscaped. There are bar, rest zones, swimming areas, dressing room. Place are not crowded. Nice view from the top of sand hill, worth to climb.

Pretty impressive as experience!
I liked the audio guided tour.
One of the places that is hard to believe it was in use till recently (2013).
It's pretty cool to be able to visit most of the buildings and see how the convicted used to live in there!
I'd recommend to visit the place before someone decides to close it...

Visited this place on the way to Pärnu. The ticket is €5 and can be purchased at the gate. Ample parking is available. There is an adventure centre where you can do kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf etc. There’s also a cafe serving food and drinks.

Went there to see the Red Bull Slack Warrior. Didn't go in the water but went climbing and had fun. Didn't mind the entrance fee. Definitely want to go back and take my kids paddling. Cool scenery and kid-friendly

One of my favorite place in Estonia. Takes nearly one hour from Center. You can use public transport which is really cheap. Location is outstanding, naturally beautiful, good place for families, friends or even with kids. Most interesting part is for me climbing the mountain. From the up it looks so beautiful and breathtaking. I personally suggest anyone to go in summer time, avoid rainy day because otherwise its quite impossible to climb. Its kinda adventure type place also. Would be good if have enough time while going there.

Amazing place, surreal nature!! Perfect clean water, you can see underwater prison, trees growing on the bottom of the lake. Rent a sup, scuba diving, hiking, make sure to clime top to spoil tip! Stuff at the diving center is super nice and friendly!

The place is very open for people to go and explore. The views is lovely and you can walk around from below and go around the little paths at the top Very little restrictions which is great.

Some people did take the piss slightly by literally scanning up the formations but I guess that is a consequence of it.

Nice little attraction of recording the area in green general. 4€ entry which is not unreasonable.

Beautiful place to hang out in an interesting settings. It is a blend of nature and history, modern and old times, relax and mystery. There are a bar and rental place for watersport equipment. Ticket costs 5eur a pop in 2022.
