Nice spot for a drink and a quick meal. Good food and great service & value. Went during hot summer, so a cold pear cider was heaven! Lovely terrace out back also. Would definately go back again!

I've been several days in Tallinn and decided to take a day trip out of town to see a bit more than just one city. I went to Haapsalu to see the ruins of the castle/monastery, and on my way back towards the bus station, I passed Taksi Pubi. It looked unassuming from the outside, but it was cold and I had a little time to kill before the bus.
Wow! Funky interior. In a cozy, good way. I ordered herring with potato, beets and egg (and sour cream) and a double shot of vodka. Came to less than 10€, and it was good.
Definitely a great find of a place!

The place has a nice quaint atmosphere. The menu is nice and short, with options for most tastes. Food is simple but tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is an activity area for children.

There is not other place in Estonia where you can try the very traditional local cuisine with a very reasonable price. The particular decoration inside makes the place an extravagant but cozy place. I used to go more than once a week when I lived in the town. This is a must in Haapsalu. Whatever you order here, it is going to be incredibly tasty with huge portions. Nice staff as well (especially if you try to spill your orders in a very vague Estonian).

In case you just need to eat, and there's an event going on in old town. It's in a center, easy to miss walking by, but it's not that small and even has outside seating. .

Super! Nice atmosphere, good food for the price and very friendly to your wallet. Also nice workers. The mirror in the bathroom gave me a compliment - what more do you want?

Underrated dining place. Really good food for low price. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Their menu updates frequently, hence there will be only a few tasty meals to choose from.

We love coming here. Authentic Estonian food in a warm and historic atmosphere. Portions are generous and prices provide good value.
