Went for 2 days and were lucky enough to get fresh snowfall. The location of the manor is beautiful. They have renovated all buildings that are on the grounds. Beautifully done. The snowfall and the white landscape made it even more magical. Spa was clean and comfortable.
The reception and service over all was very polite and friendly. I'm hooked! Would love to see it in the spring summer and maybe autumn.

Great countryside resort. The accommodations are in 9 different buildings, so best is to book via phone or email - it allows to discuss and find the best rooms for your needs: eg you prefer close to restaurant, close to spa or close to the nature. Rooms are nice, but not so luxurious as in some really fancy manor hotels. Main restaurant is nice, good meals and choice of wines for all tastes. Breakfast is good, SPA is cozy and treatments good, gym is bare minimum. Nature is amazing, just for a small hike or for larger tours. There are many small museums - vodka museum, car museum etc. Museums are not big but just a clever use of many buildings in the complex. The service is friendly, but sometimes a bit clumsy due to inexperience of the junior stuff. But they desire to offer good service. Nice and cozy experience.

Big, comfortable rooms showing off the history of the place with beautiful and modern bathrooms that tastefully fit together with "old" style of the manor. Tasty and diverse selection of food. Gorgeous area to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. Wonderful spa and interesting museums. Staff is friendly and professional.

Great weekend getaway. Restaurant is really amazing for local standards (tartar was exceptional, and I usually don’t like tartar that much…). Spa is ok, a bit small but still nice and relaxing. The garden/outside is nice and green (or white in winter), and lots of places for walking. Personnel is friendly and professional. 👍🏻

Spa center is fresh and well designed. There is one big pool, several jacuzzi and 4 saunas. Very cozy, beautiful design. Restaurant is tasty, but a bit overpriced I'd say.
Location and territory, sights are very nice, many places to go for a walk. Little farm with domestic animals like rabbits, goat, chickens and ducks. You can also visit Vodka museum which is not big, but interesting. For hotel guests free of charge.

We've stayed for 2 nights in Zen apartment. Overall room is nice, quiet, furniture is comfortable and in a good state.
Definitely recommending to visit it. And you can also visit Rakvere town which is 25km away from Vihula manor and go to famous Rakvere castle.

We came to this manor for one day - for a walk, spa visit and dinner. The weather was lovely and the park was just stunning: we had a beautiful walk around the river and through the garden. We truly enjoyed how the park and gardens are maintained, green grass is nicely cut, bridges over the river are colored, flowers were blossoming and trees were full of apples. The buildings are also in a great shape - all colored in white and yellow colors, great condition both inside and outside.

The spa is lovely, quite private, very fresh, obviously newly built. The price is biting - 25 eur per person, but for hotel guests it is free. Not too many saunas, but all are fresh and cozy, several pools and bubble baths; the space is not large, so can be crowded.

We ate dinner at a local restaurant. Ordered local food and soft drinks. The food was great - fresh and seasonal. Overall, we paid around 60 eur for the dinner.

We also visited a small exhibition of old Soviet cars which was very interesting.

I can absolutely recommend visiting this place, it is immersed in nature, but provides a wide variety of activities for everyone’s taste.

Great place & perfect location.
We are travelling with two dogs, so for us is very importar to find pets friendly hotels.
This place takes 25 EUR per night (one pet), I think is kind of too much (we paid 100 EUR for 2 nights) but anyway we had a wonderful weekend.

Spa - perfect 10/10
Breakfast - very good, but sometimes you are sitting with dirty dishes until you finish your breakfast
Room - very good, but we are already used to have a normal shampoo, shower gel, bathrobe and slippers in the rooms. (We had it in each Spa hotel..) but here no :(
It was kind of loud sometimes, because it was a wooden building and we heard everything from the 2nd floor, especially when they took a chair or just were walking there.
But all neighbours were great and after 10pm was a silence
Restaurant - To be honest I was surprised when we were waiting for around 50 minutes for the wine bottle..but waiters (student, as he told) was very nice and friendly, so anyway, we had a great late dinner there.

This hotel is in Lahema National park, so we found a lot of beautiful hiking trails.
It’s worth to visit!

Wonderful manor-style hotel. Great service, beautiful nature around, original manor houses repurposed for, spa, sauna, swim, gym and many other hedonistic leisure time activities. If Estonian country side is of interest, then this place is a must, especially for the non adventurous type.

Beautiful buildings and gardens. The windmill was grand. The spa had a multitude of options with different, pools, saunas and hot-tubs. I recommend the terrace 🍹

A beautiful garden surrounds the hotel. Wonderful small buildings all well renovated. Many buildings also provided service points (cafe, restaurant, etc.). The staff were very friendly and arrange the place where to wash our bicycles. The bathroom was a bit small due to the old building.

Place is very nice, old manor which is turned to modern hotel.
Room (Zen) was very comfy . Restaurant was really good, our choice was cold moose and eel as a appetizer and moose steak and smoked duck as main course. All of it was really good. If to really complain then selection of live music for restaurant was not really good in my opinion.
I would recommend to visit this place!

Vihula manor is one of the best northern Estonian manors to stay. Delicious best selected food in restaurant. Beautifully renovated buildings and park. Good spa with nordic treatments. Pool is located separately in the old barn building. You will enjoy your stay in every time of the year. Lots of activities to tale part or just stay and take the time off.

It's a luxury manor and country house from the 16th century, built and managed by different Danish and the Baltic German families. Perfect for a short vacation in a nature, luxury hotel room, fine dining restaurant, spa treatmemts. The closest sandy beach is 4km away and you can use bikes to get there.

Very nice and authentic place to visit. You really should visit it if You want to get a romantic getaway or just get away from the city.
Rooms are spacious and nice. Surroundings are super and as mentioned romantic.
You can take a row boat on to the beautiful dam lake. Walk around the lake on the forest trails, visit the "Musitorn" (Kiss tower), ride the horse cart, dine in tavern of Kaval Ants, play 18 hole minigolf or any other activities provided by the manor.
There are usually some live concert on the manor territory.

And the main thing is, its very authentic, all the houses are renovated to look like they were.

There are tons to do and see. Go, You will have a good vacation.
