Good selection of aircraft, very helpful staff. If you like planes, this is a good place. Steep stairs and limited parking though.

They do have specific working hours, so better to check them in advance. The museum itself is impressive - so many aircrafts. The price is 30 eur for 2 adults, and we think it was worth it. Some aircrafts you can see inside.

What a great surprise it was! I'm a big fan of aviation and I knew about this museum for years but never had a chance to visit. Now finally took my two-year old daughter there and we had a blast! It was Tuesday morning and we were there all alone. Huge museum, two commercial planes where you can go in and explore and whole bunch of fighters and helicopters to see and touch. I didn't hope to find such a legendary fighter jets there. It really is a hidden gem and worth a visit!

Good place to visit with kids and grownups alike. Has a decent selection of fighter aircraft made in USSR, Sweden, US (F-104), UK (Harrier jet), few helicopters, a display of jet engines, one tank, one PC (BTR60) and a couple of passenger aircraft where you can go inside, including the former Ukrainian PM Tymochenko’s plane. To top it all, one can see accurate replicas (smaller versions of) US aircraft carriers.

There is so much to see and there is good access to it all. No barriers, no people to stop you. Simple posters explain each exhibit. Allow yourself a couple of hours to see the aircraft

Good place to learn about cold war aviation, also soviet airframes. Lots of space, open hangars and a working short field grass airstrip included. I mean- you can visit this place with a STOL / UL plane.

Great experience..... range of old cratfs on exhibition... getting to the place is a big problamatic using public transport. Would require a cab to go there as the place is 13 km away from the Tartu city and not on a common bus route. Exibitant boards are in English as well...

Best aviation museum in Estonia if not in Baltics. Genuine planes with accent towards Cold War. Western and Soviet jets in one place within compact area. Should combine with visit to Estonian National Museum in Tartu.
