Restaurant Ormisson

Very good food and service. Koha filee was one of the best I ever had.

Associated with the Park Hotel. Really interesting setup, especially how the cafe component is connected to the Hotel component.
It really is very nice, would take my No 2 rating in Viljandi behind Fellin at No 1.
The part about it that I don't personally find appealing are the high backed dark blue chairs. Odd for the summer look, but can imagine Ormisson in winter would in the cooler months be very nice.
Was only there briefly, so didn't try the food.
Btw, room rates at the hotel average about €100, quite reasonable.

Delicious strawberry and mango cakes, good black coffee and tea. Friendly service.

I don’t think we have ever had seabass and a goat cheese salad as beautifully served as in Ormisson. And not tasted delicious! Rioja was great as well.

The restaurant is beautiful & very clean. The food was absolutely delicious! We had a 3 course meal: starter, main & dessert. The stuff was very friendly. The only thing to consider: it takes a while to receive your order. We arrived at 12pm for lunch & received our main course only around 1pm when the restaurant has been almost empty. However, I believe it is only because they had only two waitresses (both of them had to work in their Cafe place as well) & only one chef. Also, we visited with our dog & before making a booking we asked if dogs are allowed. So just in case you are travelling with your well behaved pooch it also will be a +. Thank you guys, we would love to come back!

A cafe and restaurant at the newly opened Park hotel. We stopped for some cake and coffee. Tried the chocolate black currant and carrot cakes-both were delicious. Espresso was it is supposed to be - the first sip makes you shudder. Will definitely stop here again.
