This is a sure place to visit each time I come to Estonia. Close to Tallinn, next to the sea and in the forest it’s tower offers splendid view and the whole place in general creates feeling of calmness and magic like Arvo’s music itself. It is also a good spot just for a coffee and delicious variety of snacks. There is a huge library. Usually it hosts concerts and performances. As well as Arvo’s residence when he is in Estonia. There is also a residence for musicians.

Polite and kind service, calming place to be in and walk around.
Literature in Estonian, English and Russian language to read in a very cozy library.
The coffee place has a good variety of options and very delicious cinnamon rolls.

Must visit!!
Excellent life story. Excellent building.
Tower is amazing. It has glass doors. One more floor up on foot and you see sea and forest.
Impressive.

One of the best places I've ever been to. The atmosphere is relaxed, the architecture stunning and the spirit breathtaking. Make sure to take the audio guide and listen to the incredible compositions while walking through the building. My absolute recommendation! Don't forget to take the elevator up to the top of the tower. Enjoy the view and let the impressions of this magical place flow...

I arrived about 11am on a Wednesday which is the first day of the week the Center is open. I had rode a 127A bus from Tallinn, 90 minutes to Laulesmaa. Good news, that city bus trip is only 2,30€. The bus stops at an intersection where a smaller road leads you back in the direction you came. There is a sign to direct you to walk up this road to the Center. After a short walk, you encounter another clear sign to turn right onto a smaller road. The next sign directs you to a dirt surface parking lot. At one end of the parking lot a foot path leads you to the Center. Then you are finally here. There is a 5€ admission.

Free with admission are irregularly scheduled guided tours, the ability to walk through the center and the surrounding woods, an audio guide tour, a movie about Arvo Part's life, listening stations for children to listen to children's music. You may ask at this point what you should DO here.

Well, there are scheduled concerts, alas none for my visit.

However consider this. It is hard to travel to this remote location, there are no crowds but there are groups that pass through.

Inside the building, you feel because of the windows and design, like you are outside the building in the Pine forest.

I side there are groupings of Wing chairs with wool covering in Orange, Red and Green. Sit in them, there is SILENCE. Listen to the SILENCE. Lots of SILENCE in Pärt's music. When you want, using the free WIFI in the building listen to your online recordings of Pärt's music. I am sure you you have online recordings because you would not be here if you were not already attracted to Pärt's music.

Then, maybe finally, rest in your feelings, those emerging by being here.

A place to remember. Everything in this ever so special place comes close to perfection. The location is splendid. You can go in, wander out in the forest, go in again, listen to Arvo Pärt’s music, enjoy a perfect snack, marvel at the architectural feat and get acquainted with what lays at the core of the master’s work. Definitely a place to absorb a large amount of peace and quiet, dream, feel and meditate. I was also very lucky to attend a performance by the Tallinn City Theatre in the evening.

The Argo Pärt Center is well worth the trip from Tallinn. Get an audio guide to learn about the life and music of Argo Pärt as you enjoy the beautiful architecture of this peaceful place. Finish your visit in what has to be one of the most beautiful little cafes in Estonia - the perfect final note of this experience.

The architecture of the building is a sight in itself. The ticket price for the exhibition is too high in my opinion.

This probably one of the most relaxing place I've seen in the whole Estonia.

A place to meditate in a super comfortable environment.

There's a very quick path across the forest to the center, and the journey begin there. The center it's one of the best expression of architecture. The building seems to be part of the nature.

The library was one of my favourite stop in the center, very small but with thousands of different books.

An experience that I would love to repeat soon!

Super zen atmosphere! You will surely restore the harmony of your soul there. Every kilometre worth of travelling. Superb building in the deep, quiet nature, every inch reflecting the glorious minimalism of Arvo Pärt. Experience warmly recommended.
