Galapagos Up las Grietas

This is in between rocks natural spring Rainwater and ocean water meets and creates this low salinity place with a couple of fishes in it you can get in and swim is roughly just a couple Strokes but it's a beautiful place to be I do recommend to go without a guy because when you go with a guy they will time you and won't let you stay too long if you go by yourself and pay up front the entrance you can stay as much as you like.

We got water taxi from the pier early in the morning. Then we walked about 15 minutes, paid $10 per person, then we got an english speaking guide to go. There are a few sites on the way to water canyon, so our photos turned out great! We enjoyed it! I definitely recommend going to Las Grietas!

Is awesome this place! I visited, and you need to get an Aqua Taxi and pay 1 dollar per person, and only you need to wait 4 minutes to enjoy another entry and walk 15 minutes more to enter the site. ⛲

Lots of fun, water is cool and refreshing. We went near the end of day and there weren't many people there.

Cool place to visit. Bring good shoes - no flip flops. You have to go with a guided tour, 10 Dollar per person. There are tours approximately every 45 min. You will see the gorge and you will have 45 min to go swimming there. You have also some nice views on the bay. On your way from the pier you pass playa Alemania, which is free to swim. Take a taxi boat from harbour Ayorta for 1 Dollar per person to go there, you do not need an organised tour! You should see this place.

Beautiful rock formations. Clear water and SO MANY FISH! Stunning place to swim. Go early - it gets a crowd. Mask, snorkel and fins can be hired at the store in the park.

Great place to go snorkelling in a 10m deep blue pool. This is very calm water with few fish. You can go to the end of the pool and behind there is a second pool after the rock. It's not allow to climb rock due to accident in the past, and not allow to eat to preserve the place.

Very beautiful. Get there early like 8-9 in the morning and you will have the grietas just for you (and your group), don't forget your snorkeling gear. Feel free to go with the Spanish group even if you don't talk Spanish. The informations are not really important. We thought it's good to have some Informations in English and we just waited an hour for an English guide. Yep. No. Just go there pay 10$ and have a good swim/snorkeling experience.

Great swim with large and colorful fish. Be sure to bring a snorkel mask for the best experience.

Absolutely beautiful site. Great for a couple of hours of snorkling. Make sure to visit all the three pools, although it requires a bit of rock climbing.

Beautiful clear water. Take you mask and snorkel with you. Take a water taxi to Playa Las de Alemanes ($1 US). Then follow the track for 5. Walk past the beach another 10 minute. The restaurant to the right of the taxi drop point let’s you jump from the front into the ocean. They also have fresh water showers. Angermeyer Waterfront Inn and Restaurant. It’s good to have a couple of beers after a hot long walk.

Beautiful place to visit and relax. Bring good walking shoes.

My second favourite place in Santa Cruz! (First Tortuga Bay). This time they opened a new grieta so there are 2 Grietas now. Still amazing to visit!

Great place to go during they day, you can pat for an aqua taxi or go in a guided tour. Bring your snorkel gear if you are going on your own, it's definitely recommended.

Really cool snorkeling spot. It's basically a saltwater pool formed in a canyon. Water is a bit warmer than the ocean.

Super beautiful place tot snorkle, it takes a hike to get there.

Strongly recommended. The water is clear and there are plenty of fish. Try not to touch the rocks on the side because the moss comes off really easily and sorta ruins the view (you get a lot of tiny floating specs in your pictures).
