Hosteria Pampallacta Termales

We stayed here for a few nights in July 2021. We loved it. Very affordable & pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxing with stone interiors and a great bath and fireplace in the room. Upon request, they made a fire and a bath for us while we were at dinner. I think they have to do that since the temp has to be just right and they use a good amount of water in the stone tubs. Staff were helpful. We even payed to wash our gross Amazon jungle clothes there. It was nice talking to the owner and her dog was well behaved and adorable. She spoke English too. The food was good, we especially enjoyed breakfast and the delicious parfait and pancakes. We would love to visit again one day!

We had a great stay there. The room was very cozy, spacious and clean with a nice design. The heating was good, and the fireplace was a must. The second part of the night was cold but the blankets were warm enough. There was a bathtub that can be filled with thermal water, make sure you ask in advance so it has time to temper before you enter. The food was delicious, one of the best I had in Ecuador for a reasonable price, very good breakfast included. The only slightly negative point was the pools: there are only three, plus a cold one. It would be great to have a larger variety of pools. The one outside was not warm enough in the morning and a bit dirty, and the two others were too hot for children. The location is perfect, the view of the mountains is beautiful and there is a nice walk you can do behind the hotel. I thought the price was a bit high but it's comparable with the other hotels in Papallacta.

Wonderful place for vegetarian food in Papallacta. The hot pools are clean and relaxing too. Overall, great place!

Nice place to stay for relax some days.
The termal water pools are really nice.. i enjoyd the one outside with view on the mountains.
The food is delicious and well prepeared and the service is very good. There is als the posibility to book a Massage, what we did and it was the perfect relax.
Our room had a termal watter pool and a chimney which made a very romantic and relaxing athmosphere.
Not far away from the accomodation starts a hike to a very nice natural Waterfall and a nice lake. After the hike, it's perfect to relax in the thermal watter pool. I can really recomand this place.

Amazing place!!! Lots of options for the different hot spring pools. What's also awesome is that you get your own pool in your room, plus a super warm fireplace. I love the decor of my room too. This is a super relaxing place - I love it.
The restaurant's also super amazing and I had their food many times! Sometimes there'll also be a sweet dog who comes and sits next to you. I love this hosteria! Would not forget!

Delightful. The location is divine. The service is top notch. And the rooms fit us just right.

This place was a lifesaver! The facilities were so nice: two really comfy beds with the cutest fleece blankets, a HUGE tub in our room, a TV with cable, WiFi, nice breakfast included. Definitely go for the fireplace room, what a nice added bonus. There are two pools in the back of the hotel exclusively for hotel guests, as well as a pond with a gazebo and two short hike options right on the property. This plus the delicious onsite restaurant make this place an amazing find. The receptionist was very nice and allowed my parents to enter the private pools and use our room for the afternoon for free. He also arranged an affordable and comfortable taxi for them to the airport that evening. At $70 for the night, this place can’t be beat. Breakfast at the restaurant was included in the price - the buffet was pretty spectacular, I liked it better than the one at the Hilton in Quito actually! The perfect place to stay for a couple of nights and visit the day spa and balnearios at the Termas de Papallacta, just a short walk up the hill. I wish I had taken photos to share for this review. 🙊🐒🤗

I very much enjoyed my stay. The price is right and the restaurant is delicious. I consider the dinner I had the best meal in my ten-day trip in Ecuador —— and I ate in considerably more expensive places in Quito. One suggestion: provide guests with more information about the facilities (a printout).

Cozy, comfortable rooms with fireplace. The staff is helpful, friendly. The hosteria feels like mountain life. The warm water pools are the best part!

Our party of 4 happened upon hosteria pampallacta termales after the main highway washed out in a storm and was unexpectedly closed. The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly to our travel weary, stranded souls. The hot springs, warm fireplace and buffet breakfast turned into one of the best parts of our road trip through Ecuador.

This place is fantastic. So relaxing. First class service. Family run. Pablo and his Mom are so, so nice. I recommend it. Stay here!! 😀

This place was wonderful! The attention was on top and the rooms were so cozy and comfortable. The Buffett breakfast was delicious!

Great place, huge rooms, great huge stone pool in bedroom that they filled with thermal water at night! Good food.
