This location is big and there are plenty of tables to sit. Especially if you go on a weekday. I heard this place is packed on the weekend. Staff were friendly. Orders take a while to get prepared. I waited about 10-15 minutes for mine. Food was great. My family and I had a great time and enjoyed the food very much. They also have "cuy" for those who want to try this typical Ecuadorian dish.

La.comida estubo deliciosa. Las empanadas son grandes y muy ricas. El choclo estupendo. Siempre que viajo a Otavalo, como Fritadas Amazonas.

It is my favorite place to eat near Otavalo. The food is excellent, the restaurant is very clean including the restrooms. Just as important is the service, and they have a very friendly, courteous staff.

Yum! This place is beloved by Ecuadorians for a reason. We shared a large plate of fritada with mote and potatoes. Make sure to ask for ají!
