RUTA DE LOS VOLCANES

Very lovely hotel close to the Cotopaxi Park. The owner is very friendly and helpful with organizing different activities and the food is delicious! The different fireplaces around the house make it sooo cosy! :) Thank you for having us!

The hostal is comfortable and ideally located for climbing the Ruminahui volcano and visiting Cotopaxi National Park. Darwin is a wonderful host. He helped me solve logistical problems. He is also an excellent cook.

Best restaurant in Ecuador! The food was amazing, authentic and the family-atmosphere at the place is very charming. Plus the view at the nearby volcanoes is great! Don't worry about the bad road to get there, it is 100% worth it!!!

This restaurant was a fantastic find! Super cosy environment, great service and the food was outstanding. Definitely not your standard comida tipica. We had soup (with lots of avacado), beef and chicken on sizzling hot plates. Lots of flavor, great presentation. We will be back.

Do not hesitate : stay there!
To make it simple : I went there one time, and 10 days later I was not that far so I just decided to go back again!
There is absolutely nothing not to like: very nice rooms in a very good location and surrounding, and a great value for money. And… the trout is the best I had in Ecuador, because it is perfectly prepared ;)
Darwin, the man working there, is both nice and smart (an the whole village is developing the right way when it comes to tourism).
For motorcyclists: you can park you bike safely and do some mechanic while admiring the Cayambe volcanoe in the horizon and driking fresh beer, which makes any kind of mechanical problem nice to fix ;)

Pour faire simple : j'y suis allé une fois, et dix jours plus tard je n'étais pas loin donc j'y suis retourné !
Tout est très bien : de belles chambres, très bien situées sur le route des Volcans, dans un bel environnement avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Et la truite est absolument délicieuse - la meilleure que j'ai mangée en Équateur - parce qu'elle est parfaitement préparée (directement grillée sur une pierre, un régal absolu).
Darwin, l'homme qui y travaille, est accueillant et intelligent (le village dans son ensemble se développe d'ailleurs de manière raisonnée en ce qui concerne le tourisme).
Pour ceux qui sont à moto : vous pouvez vous garer en toute sécurité et faire un peu de méca tout en admirant le volcan Cayambe enneigé à l'horizon et en sirotant une bière fraîche, ce qui rend la chose vraiment pas désagréable ;)

Ein kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit Restaurant. Der richtige Standort um die Vulkan-Abenteuer zu starten. Praktisch direkt gegenüber vom Hotel beginnt ein Wanderweg, der bis auf den Rumiñahui führt. Abends kocht Darwin ein tolles Menü bei dem keine Wünsche offen bleiben und man kann sich am Kamin aufwärmen.
Ein wirklich schönes Plätzchen, an dem man sich von Wandertagen in dieser unglaublichen Region erholen kann. Und die Organisation von Ausflügen oder einfach nur Infos und Hinweise kann man auch gleich im Hotel bekommen - einfach super!

Il luogo è tranquillo e isolato, lontano da mete turistiche, le camere sono spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. Il proprietario è una persona gentile e disponibile che vi aiuterà e consiglierà su ogni vostra richiesta.
Abbiamo inoltre consumato pranzo e cene durante il nostro soggiorno ed era tutto molto buono (disponibilità di pietanze vegetariane).
Il proprietario ci ha inoltre organizzato una gita a cavallo con Patrizio, persona speciale e gentile di 3 ore all’interno del parco. Un’emozione da non perdere.

Eine heimelige und authentische Unterkunft nahe der Natur und vielen Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Wir haben uns extrem gut aufgehoben gefühlt bei Darwin und seiner Familie. Am Abend am Kamin aufwärmen war eines der vielen Highlights. Das Essen war eines der Besten überhaupt in Ecuador! Sehr zu empfehlen, auch für einige Tage!

Todo ha sido perfecto! Nos han recibido con mucho cariño y prepararon la chimenea para nosotros. La cena - comimos Lomo a la plancha- fue espectacular!! Repitiria sin duda!

Lugar maravilloso, trato inmejorable, habitación preciosa con chimenea y comedor muy acogedor.
La comida es riquísima, de proximidad y típica de la zona.
Muy cerca del Parque Nacional Cotopaxi i de muchas rutas a pie. Se encuentra a 3500m, perfecto para aclimatar.
Súper recomendable, además tratan de cuidar el medio ambiente y permiten q rellenes tu botella de agua, para eliminar el plástico, entre otros gestos.
