The Steak Garden

I cannot rate this place highly enough. I arrived very late for dinner at 10.30pm in the hope that the kitchen wouldn't be closed. Despite having no other customers left the staff were more than obliging to sit me at a table and deliver impeccable service from start to finish. The appetiters were delightful, consisting of garlic bread with two dipping sauces, a chimichurri and more spicy piccante sauce. I ordered the lomo a la piedre (steak served on a sizzling hot stone). The dish was presented in a dramatic fashion, being flambéed on delivery to the table. I prefer my beef to be on the rarer side of medium rare, without being overcooked nor cold. The meat was cooked perfectly and continued to sizzle to perfection at the table. The meat was accompanied by perfectly crisp fried potatoes which were well seasoned and not at all greasy. The cocktails also met equivalent high standards, particularly the margaritas. I would say this was the most delicious steak I've ever eaten, and that includes many steaks throughout Argentina. Highly recommended!!

Delicious meat’s and amazing service. Very good prices as well. I ordered the beef tenderloin with shrimps on the lava stone. It was soooo good. It arrived with salad, potatoes and many sauces. The waiter knows English which is just a bonus. Their cocktails are very good as well. Very recommend!

The food is awesome! We ordered tomahawk and I think the taste is top notch. It was served on a hot stone, which kept the meat warm. The server was also very attentive, he proactively came to switch a sharper knife for me when he saw I was struggling.

Best Steakhouse in Banos!! Tomahawk was delicious. Edwin served us like royalty and gave us impeccable service. A must stop when you are in town. Best service we had in Ecuador so far !!

The steak and shrimp were fantastic (as was the nachos appetizer). It is so fun to cook at your table on a volcanic rock. Everyone loved their food. I go here every time I visit Baños!

We just had dinner here and it was fabulous. We both had tomahawk steaks. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend. Service was wonderful too!

Superb food! We went after a long day of activities and shared a Tomahawk steak, it was superb. The beer was also an absolute delight, fantastic choice and great guest ales. Service was out of this world too. Loved it.

Delicious ribeye steak and grilled lamb chops with tasty potatoes and salad.

Great ribs and steak. The lomo a la piedra, steak on a stone was particularly good. The beer selection is excellent and the service is very friendly and efficient.
