Café Colibrí specialty coffee

Chicken Sandwich was super tasty. We got the Colibrí combo for $6. Granola and yogurt in the fruit was good. Juice is tasty and hot chocolate is made from steamed milk. Add your own sugar. The star is the sandwich and egg.

Did a return visit. Very consistent. Must visit in Banos.

I’m certain that this is the best breakfast restaurant in Baños! The owners work really hard to provide exceptional service and food. I ate the special breakfast 2 days in a row. The avocado in the sandwich is seasoned perfectly! I have zero complaints.

Waiter spoke a little English; that was helpful. Nice atmosphere. Not a large dining area. A variety of coffee type beverages. Had a good breakfast- eggs, Pancake, fruit.Fruit. A nice view of a garden area.

Perfect spot in Baños! We had sandwiches and pancakes with shrimps and mushrooms. Really so good!
The coffee’s and home made ‘postres’ were great! Don’t hesitate and go have lunch there!

It is a great pleasure to spend time here, with excellent coffee and generous breakfast spreads. There is even an art gallery upstairs which you can look over while you wait for your meal. Easily my favorite restaurant in Banos.

The food is very tasty, breakfast portions are big for a very fair price.

Excellent specialty coffee and food at a great price. The toasties are delicious large and full of flavour. The cafe also has a lovely setting next to a backyard garden.

Beautiful outdoor cafe surrounded by flowers, greenery, garden in the back with seating if you want to read or draw. Breakfast was filling, amaretto coffee hit the spot.

Very nice café. There are colibri in the garden and a small art museum on the first floor. There are tables for adults and children as well as a hammock and lounch chair. The place is unfortunately not accessible to wheelchair. The door to the toilet is very low so even normal size people like me can feel tall. I like that. Breakfast is great and so are the juices and sandwiches.

I stumbled in there by chance, as I was looking for a breakfast to take-away.
You will notice all the places in Banos have good reviews, so it's difficult to pick the best ones. I'd say you can go in there with your eyes closed, the service is nice but the most important thing (the FOOD!!) is great! :) everything is fresh and tastes good (even the marmelade)
Even if from the outside it doesn't look like much, I can only recommend to pass through the entrance and enjoy the good food and the place.
On a personal note, I recommend the special breakfast Colibri (the toasts are excellent)

Great garden, amazing art gallery of Jorge Edguin Barrera, and even a excellent orchid collection with a handful of blooming orchids.
Food was excellent, good coffee, too!

If you're looking for a CRAZY bang for your buck we got served some elite level food herw for 3$.

When You're coming to Baños, damn it you're just on any vacation in general... My guess is You want to go relax as deep as possible while breathing the cultural flair of south america.

Once we'd been served the 1,50$ heavy Humatas (that looked like a 5-star michellin dish with a fines slice of cheese on top and a finally chopped tomatoe )...

...my whole body let go off the every day grind stress and I felt like a Million bucks.
So much so me and My girlfriend actually joked: "Congrstulations on Becoming a millionaire" haha

This café serves at the same time as an art galaxy stacked full of luxury oil paintings.
The entryway is so lavish it found its way in minutes to my vision board as the entry for my dreams house.

It's dead close to what seems to be the central market street so you're gonna be super close anyways. Just, convince yourself if You like it.

My strong bet is you'll spend 90 Minutes here (as we did) exploring every hidden secret this marvel has to offer.

Excellent food and service, the sparkling hummingbird slushy is a must have, comes with delicious fruit spheres.
