La Romana International Airport

Very clean, small and quiet airport. Lovely staff. Experience was good with customs. Traveled with Air Transit, and only the one flight which was good.
Small cafeteria on the outside. 1 Duty free store on the inside- with a few restaurants to purchase food and beverage.
Disclaimer: YOU CANNOT PROCEED PAST CHECK IN WITH FOOD WHICH IS SILLY. THEY SHOULD ALLOW FOOD, as most countries.
Looking forward to returning again.

Clean and quiet. Compared to Punta Cana airport, this one is smaller and less crowded. I had a charter plane from here, not sure if a lot of big planes land here. Overall good airport.

Great wee airport. Outdoor check in & quick service. Staff lovely. Few eateries for pizza, burgers etc. All lively & surprisingly not expensive. Also has a bar & coffee shop.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. My mother in law forgot a bag with shoes in the bus to the Airport and noticed it after passing the security check at the gate.
We went back and they staff was very friendly and supported us to get the bag back very quickly.

With today's COVID19 restrictions - all operations in the airport are greatly arranged. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our airplane carried about 350 peoples and all of them passed formalities in the passport control and customs very fast - within about 35-40 minutes despite small size of the airport and facilities.

Tiny, simple, but nice from my point of view. A queue from the plane, quick customs clearance and then you depend only on your guide timing. The sun after winter in Russia offsets any inconveniences :)

Love this airport, not only because it's only 5 minutes from our house, but also because it's smaller than the rest in the country, so the check in or getting out is very fast

La Romana Casa De Campo International Airport (IATA: LRM, ICAO: MDLR) is an international airport located on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, adjacent to the tourist town of La Romana and the resort of Casa de Campo. It is located about 68 miles (110 km) from the capital, Santo Domingo.

The current airport opened in December 2000 and replaced the earlier La Romana Airport with the same name and IATA code. The old airport was on the Caribbean shore, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) southwest of the current airport.[7]

The former airport served private planes and one daily American Airlines flight from Miami and a few American Eagle flights.

In viaggio con famiglia con un bambino di 5 anni e uno di 1 anno....non te lo fanno pesare in quanto nelle varie corsie che si formano per i controlli passano gli addetti alla sicurezza a farti mettere nella fila più scorrevole. Il personale è serio i controlli accurati ma ti trattano sempre con tranquillità, simpatia e rispetto. Darei un regolata ai prezzi dei negozi per chi è in uscita....accessibile solo il rhum. Carina l'area esterna per bambini e fumatori.

È un piccolo aeroporto de La Romana nella
Repubblica Dominicana ma attrezzato! Bellissima aerea per bambini esterna . Questo aeroporto lavora soprattutto con le linee aeree charter , ci sono molti , troppi controlli da fare per entrare in aeroporto e i prezzi nei negozi all' interno sono in alcuni casi folli ! il personale all' interno sinceramente non sembra all' altezza sono molto free

Хороший аэропорт. Можно добраться на местной маршрутке «ГуаГуа» из отелей в районе Байяибе, цена на 2021 год составила 80 песо.
Чистые приличные туалеты, есть, чем дышать, красиво, есть зона с магазинами, кофейня, пиццерия и прочие радости жизни, и даже Priority Pass.
Отдельное спасибо за то, что при знании испанского местные сотрудники дают крутые места на рейсы до дома.

Аэропорт без изыска, но со всем необходимым (Дютик, кафешка, бургерная, туалеты, магазины с сувенирами). Багаж проверяют с собакой, таможенный досмотр прошли быстро, по стандартной процедуре, без особых придирок. Выход к самолету пешком по улице. По прилету контролируют температуру.
