Probably one of the most beautiful places in the entire country. And given the fact that this is the Caribbean, it's even that much more special. Beautiful mountains, pine trees and fresh air. Hard to beleive that you are really in the middle of the Caribbean. You can spend days up there exploring everything. It's even one of the only spots in the country where camping is not only permitted, but encouraged.

Gorgrous, vast and mysterious looking.
150 DR pesos for entry, which is totally worth it. Not just for the pyramids but for all the plant life and leftover Trujillo relics.

Amazing experience, is usually as we can all expect , every place has its own beautiful touch, is kinda hard to get along all the way up and even way worse for going down , due to difficult roads , but really worth the experience , I can make it own tent or rent it with a company , nature, air, rivers and people makes this place a wonderful one , them old is harder than u can expect , during winter it can plummeted down as low as -9 °c, the rest of the year fluctuates between 8 during daytime to -3°c , love the everyonet up there

Beautiful landscapes and low temperatures. Bird-watching is a must as well as frogs, reptiles and other animals that are frequent and easy to interact with.
