Platón Eco Lodge

This eco lodge is actually eco! You can walk up a waterfall then hike to the mountain spring where all the water for the facilities and they generate their own power from it too. Tree houses, bathing pools, tones of family friendly activities (tubing, hiking, horseback, all in jungles containing guava, cocoa, papaya, etc trees)

Amazing, beautiful resort! Super natural, delicious food, and very cool atmosphere. Kind staff, they gave me some pain medicine when I needed some and I forgot to bring. Good for the whole family! There is a large array of activities to do, like horseback riding, tubing down a natural river, and climbing a waterfall all the way to the source of the waterfall, where we drank some and the water was so fresh and good. If you are coming here, I highly recommend the cabin with the natural pool, because up that waterfall is the same waterfall we climb up! If you want to come here, you also need to contact the place to bring you up because they have a designated car to bring you up the mountain (which is a whole experience in itself). I would rate 10/5 if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place is next level. We went because someone recommended it but we were not expecting much. We saw some pictures and it didn't look that nice, but let me tell you that we were wrong and the pictures in Google didn't make the place justice.

The place is in the middle of the woods and the ride in there was the first breathtaking moment of the trip. Once you got there you could see how nice the entire lodge was (especially the treehouse where we stayed). The river has white rocks and light blue water and you have an amazing view from the restaurant/lobby. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The food from the restaurant was next level (and if you pay $16 more when you book you dinner included for two people), not your typical hotel food but more like a restaurant you go out and don't care for the prices when you eat.

Additionally, the room fee also includes a hike up a waterfall (on the picture in this post), tubing down the river and horseback riding. It's important to note that they produce their own electricity (hydropowered by the waterfalls) and use natural sweet water for showers and pools.

Important to remember to bring your own bug spray because mosquitoes are the only bad thing in this place (but it is to expect since you are literally in the middle of the woods).

This is the perfect place for someone that wants to be in touch with nature but also wants the comfort of hot water and AC in the rooms. 11/10 reccomend.

One of the best (and least touristy) spots to stay in the entire Caribbean. Great activities onsite such as tubing and horseback riding, and is a close vicinity to the least touristy, most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Beautiful rooms and jaw dropping scenery!! Recommend for everyone!

The"Hotel" is far away from anything, a clear small river is passing. It's very quiet, exclusive and expensive there!

Rancho Platón es un lugar para los amantes de la naturaleza de los mejores que se pueden encontrar en República Dominicana.
Las cabañas en los árboles son espectaculares, tanto por su ubicación, como por su construcción y los detalles del interior.
Las cascadas, ríos, piscinas y vegetación que rodean el lugar son extraordinarios.
La calidad de la comida, la variedad de sus platos y la carta de cocina son de primer nivel.
El equipo humano que trabaja en el hotel es de un nivel de amabilidad perfecto.
Sin duda, un lugar excelente para unas vacaciones en familia lejos del ruido y rodeados de naturaleza.
Es mejor dejar que los recojan en el pueblo de Paraíso, porque el camino al hotel es un poco peligroso por los riós y cambios de pendientes aún tengan vehiculos 4x4

Excelente lugar para pasar unos dias en familia, disfrutando de la naturaleza y de todo el confort que el amable staff esta dispuesto a ofertar. Habitaciones comodamente arregladas y exquisitamente decoradas. La variedad en actividades te permite disfrutar de aventura y descanso en el momento que lo apetezcas.

Es un lugar muy bonito, volvería a ir sin duda la atención es exelente, en especial Deivi el camarero es muy atento, es un paraíso, el lugar es muy limpio y la comida es muy buena, realmente vale la pena 🥰
