Great place to visit. We planned our trip to Santiago from puerto plata and found this place on the map. It was a great stop and we enjoyed the time there. Paul helped us a lot to understand more about the history of Dominican plants and the story behind their 11 god of old times. I highly suggest you to visit if you can. It will take you 2 hours to complete this amazing trail and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommended 💯👍

Beautiful paradise with a warm host.
A tropical garden with lots to see. You will also learn a lot about the botany and culture of Taino of the Dominican Republic. Thanks Paul!

It was an absolutely amazing trip! The park was beautiful and the experience was educational! Elena assisted our guide Mercedes and they worked well together. I would definitely love to visit again and have shared with my friends and family. The views are phenomenal and I fell on love with the natural beauty.

We found this park by accident on the google map and decided to visit without big expectations. And there it was - quite huge, nice and well maintained! There are Taino mini sculptures and interesting information about them in Spanish and English. And of course many tropical plants on the trail, some friendly domestic animals on the way too. So in general, those who love nature and some history, will love it. Thank you!

Great place to visit!!!! Paul and Iris are very knowledgeable about the plants and Taino Gods. Beautiful flowers, views of the mountains and animals are well cared for. You can tell the animals love Paul as they come running when they hear his voice. Would highly recommend. Something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Takes about 90 minutes to walk the path. Will definitely go back.

This place is a must go!!!!!!! We were extremely happy to visit! Our host Iris was a knowledgeable, genuine, and friendly person. She described all different plans, flowers, and fruits in the area. Fresh waters! There were so many things to see! From orchids to bromeliads, passion fruits to avocados to cacaos... We had the opportunity to try a very delicious type of red pear and bring some home! Also, she shared with us the old Tainos and their Gods. It's a whole experience! Must go! Thank you very much Iris for the tour and shared knowledge! We will definitely come back!

What a wonderful experience. Lush tropical gardens and beautiful animals in the petting area of the park. Paul and Iris took great care to make us enjoy the trip. Paul brought us on a tour and shared his knowledge of the plant and animals. If you have a chance this is the place to go.

Great place to learn a bit about the local plants and culture. Very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff. Amazing tropical nature walk. Easy walk but you do go up and down slightly graded hills. I would recommend tennis shoes vs flip flops. Bring a rain jacket in case it rains, though for us it was only a light, warm, refreshing rain and we only got a little wet.

We had wonderful time in Taino Valley. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a tour and explain a lot about plants and trees in the park. There are lots of charming spots you can seat and admire the nature. I really recommend the place.

Very nice park and excellent stop on the way. Family run business with personal attention. The park itself is good for about 2 hours visit. Children loved the little paths, petting zoo. For adults it's also nice to enjoy the plants and learn about the local Taino Culture.

Absolute best thing to do in Puerto plata! We had small children, teenagers and grandparents and it was great for everyone! The donkies loved our bright shirt and the kids enjoyed feeding everyone. The couple who run it were amazing and so informative. We did alot while in Puerto plata and hands down, this was our top thing we got to do. Cannot say it enough, do this walk/hike!

A beutiful expirience especially with the petting animal zoo, feeding the fishes, learning about the environment, hiking, sight seeing nearby towns ect.

I def had a great time. I think its all about learning regarding the environment and supporting a great cause. I would come here again.

Beautiful experience for anyone who wants to get in contact with nature, and the spirits of our Taino ancestors. My favorite part was the animals, and eating the delicious fruit. My guide was Elena, she was wonderful and very dedicated.

Nice park, we spent there almost 2 hours. Price for 2 adults and 2 paying kids was 2400 pesos.

Beautiful walk with many tropical flowers and fruits to pick. My 2 year old got to see the donkeys, rabbits, ducks, hamsters and Billy the goat. She loved it. The hike is not challenging but is a brisk walk that will make the beer at the end of it that much sweeter a reward. We will be back soon! Thank you Paul and Elena.
