Restaurant staff are the stars of the hotel Mendez, Rafael, Carlos Amber and everyone. Thank you for making this trip a well-spent one. Food magnificent, service is exceptional, overall one of the best places I have been in my life.... lovely swimming pool and swing I do enjoy the spacious room. Slight language barrier but thanks to staff who taught me few words ...definitely a gem...

Peaceful! Beautiful! One of my favorite places to stay. The beach is not far from the stay. If your looking for a peaceful setting this is your place. Staff is amazing, suites are flawless, the food is delicious. Love, love.

Services were excellent! Very friendly staff, animation staff was great! Pool area staff, great, reception also great! Overall hotel services 1-10 it give it a 10.

Hodelpa Garden Suites is top class.

The level of service in this place is exceptional. The food is exceptional. I have never eaten so much food in one week like I did at Hodelpa all my life. And might I add, the food is so delicious and plus they were many options.

In addition to this, because it was an all inclusive hotel experience, it was even better.

For Food:
They are 7 times a day that you are fed (Breakfast, Snack (10 am), Lunch, Snack (3pm), Dinner, Late night snack (11 pm) and drinks are available almost around the clock

For Activities:
They are a plethora of activities to do during the day namely: archery, ridding, rock climbing, beach ball, football (soccer), swimming, bingo, cards, table tennis, pools, table football and there is even an option for golf. On the weekends, things get even more exciting as they are many different shows and opportunities to win prizes. On Friday Nights there is a Fire Show, on Saturday nights, there is a Sand Show, and on Sunday nights there is an another show.

For Amenities: They are great Amenities, including: rooms fully Air-conditioned, with living room space, microwave, refrigerator, and who all have a balcony; 24 hr fitness centre/gym; 24 hours gaming room; board room; conference rooms; water fall inside lobby; three bars; a huge dinning space; huge outdoor space for activities; A massive pool area with a bar installed in the pool; beach and airport shuttle; A mini mart attached to it.

For Accessibility: The area is pretty safe and in proximity to everything. From the airport, it’s 30 mins drive (on smooth roads), 5-10 mins walk from the hotel is one of Dominican Republics most famous beach. In the vicinity of that beach is also a craft market for souvenirs. There are various supermarkets around the area, matter of a fact, just by the entrance of the hotel, there is an ATM as well a pharmacy, and a coffee shop. As a foreigner who stayed there you really can’t ask for a better location.

Language: Though the language in Dominican Republic is Spanish, the hotel has workers who speak English. And though not everyone can speak English, there is always a willingness to help you get to an English speaker if they realize that you can’t understand their Spanish.

People: The people/workers there are very very friendly and professional. Their service is exceptional and they are always pleasant. Shout out to the entire kitchen staff, shout out to the entire team who performs at the night shows on the weekends, they are amazing, shout out to the faithful bar tender.

Ambiance: The overall ambiance at the hotel is very exciting and fun. The music is very good and the place feels light

Improvements: Being very unbiased in this review, they are two things that need improvements. My recommendations are as follows;
1. Improve the TV size in the rooms as well as have cable or satellite channels on them.
2. Because if the size of the hotel and the number of people that flock it, there needs to be a more high-speed Wi-Fi system.

Altogether, I rate this hotel a confident 4.9 out of 5 and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in the DR near SDQ airport

Exelent service, food is very good, bedrooms are pretty and clean, it is small but everything is Exelent. Staff is very nice, pool is really nice, entertaining very nice. I love it. Reception are very very good

Miguel Angel bartender, Reynaldo server, Yamilca server these three are an honor meeting them, and having them for service here at Hodelpa Garden Suites. I must say they are the three best and I mean it the best in everything they do, service, courtesy, respectful, attentive must reward these folks because they are the reason why folks come back, I am very well pleased with this place and this hotel I can't also forget the entertainment team major league also very attentive to me....God bless all you folks and your families thank you. Our group really felt safe and at home. The animation team was so energetic and fun! They included everyone and made us felt special. Rosy spent some time to help us with archery. It was so much fun! She was very personal and genuinely interested in finding out about us. Jasmine, Eunice , Francisco, and Eddy looked like they were having so much fun every time they were performing and interacting with the crowd. The cleaning staff did an excellent job.....especially Beatriz. The front desk staff were always willing to help and very friendly.

I an amazing experiences to be here. The employees are so kind specially Yamilka and Elena at the bar servings drinks. The food was good I love to have Omelet for breakfast and I had it. The animation was amazing they make the costumers feel that they care about their vacation, thanks you Rosy. Keep been nice and having an amazing food quality. See you soon.

Especially Rosy, who is one the people in charge of activities. She was probably my favorite part of my visit to the Dominican Republic. If you ever meet her, you'll know what I mean.

This was our second stay at Hodelpa and it felt like coming home to see family friends. The hotel was incredible in an of itself, but the staff is what makes it special. There is a lot of darkness, but especially the animation team brings lightness to all guests. Rosy, Eunice, Jasmine, Francisco, & Eddy male gusts feel celebrated, joyful and welcomed. They truly are a power team. You can see they love what they do. They remembered my name, and made me feel at home. The shows were so interactive and 100% excellent. Other staff that made our stay incredible were Maria, Josephina & Elena Marie. THANK YOU HODELPA!! We look forward to coming next year & seeing this Hodelpa family.

It was a unique experience with people who They gave the best service like: Yamilka, Rosy, Ana, Jose Miguel, Francisco and Mili. They made me spend a very pleasant moment with their activities and attention.

This hotel was amazing as it gives you such family atmosphere. The animation team, including Rossy, was always catering to the guests with such a positive and friendly treatment. The hotel has been my favorite so far and I love to come back. The food was delicious and whatever you crave that is not on the buffet they get it for you. I recommend this 100%.

Hodelpa resort is one of the best, excellent services, activities for adults and children the entertainment crew are top of the line. They are not just employees they become close friends in your stay and they take time to know and each of their customer. Will be coming back without a doubt. 1000 % recommend. Great visit to Hodelpa. Been here many times. Staff was very friendly and great to work with. Fany was great to work with for our group reservation. Janet and Josifine were terrific as always. Morning chef was fantastic but don't remember his name. Look forward to coming back.
