This is en route to the mountainous side of the country where you need a mule to transport. Not much tourism here yet huge potential in the near future best kept secret in the Dominican Republic. LOVE IT!

Beautiful area. 2 Thermal spring pools that we had all to ourselves early on a Wednesday morning. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Great place to visit. The views are amazing. The little pools are great. The river is always cool no matter the time of the year, but it's manageable. Overall a good experience.

It’s a small thermal water pool in San Jose de las matas, from a extint volcano 🌋 from more than 3,000 thousand years ago, very nice relaxing atmosphere and the river below is a encounter face to face with Mother Nature😃

check out the place before you pay any money to enter. the hot pool is very small you will have to wait long before you get a chance to bathe in it.
