Very nice. Staff are excellent, they know what they are talking about, very helpful in every way. Looked at a lot of kittens and cats and every time we went to adopt one they had already been taken,anyway after 4 hours we eventually adopted the first cat we saw goes by the name of "Spooky". Completely black.

We came for holidays to Århus and we found an injured baby sea gall
We called them and it took just 20 min to pick up the baby

Excellent animal shelter, although a bit hard to get by if you're a foreigner without Danish company, because not all the volunteers speak English. Then again, they are solely run on volunteer work, so that's not a big complaint...

Best animal shelter in Dk, in my opinion.
They take such good care of the animals, and they make sure that those who adopt, are serious about adopting. Great facilities for the animals, with a new house for their cats and smaller animals. My boyfriend and I adopted one of our cats from there, and he was in such a good health and spririt when we adopted him which made the transition so easy and he has become a big part of our lives.

They take really good care of the animals at the shelter, they really care about them. They are also very good at giving advice on animals and animal care, and helping you out pick the right animal to take home. Overall a rather positive place

Jeg har fået min kat igennem DDÅ, hvilket var en utrolig god oplevelse. Hvis man gerne vil støtte et godt formål, kan jeg klart anbefale stedet. Det var tydeligt, at de gik op i, at dyrene fik en god ejer og et godt liv.

Utrolig dejlige mennesker, der elsker at tage sig af deres pleje dyr (børn) indtil de finder en nye hjem
