Beautiful view of whole Sønderborg City and Dybbøl city from 16th floor of this hotel.

Super luxurious hotel.
Didn't try spa.
Rooms very big. Hard mattress. Big shower. Breakfast was super nice.
Free to go see the view at 15'th floor.
Service was good.
Awesome experience in general.

A great hotel with an incredibly terrific breakfast buffet.
The location directly at the harbor and closed to the down town is perfect for excursions.
Especially the corner rooms offer a wonderful view.

We were met with unparalleled customer service, a testament to the expertise and leadership of CEO Jesper Bach Larsen, a top professional with experience reminiscent of the service level at Hilton (which I personally felt during my stay).

Mille from F&B was the highlight! Even with 40+ conference attendees, she anticipated every need, ensuring a seamless event. In 2023, as I've reduced my travels, Mille's service was a breath of fresh air. Alsik, hold onto her; you wouldn't want her getting headhunted by a competitor.

I highly recommend Alsik for both stays and conferences. Experience the magic of customer service for yourself!

A unique perspective of Sønderborg. Even if you're not staying here, a ticket up to The View Point on 17th floor is worth it.

Stayed here for 2 nights and experienced the warm and friendly hospitality of Sønderborg. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious, with a great view and well equipped with basic amenities. A stone's throw from the center of town, there are many quaint shops and eateries to discover.

We enjoyed our stay to such an extend, that we have already, during the time of writing, been there twice. It is just such a luxurious and pleasant experience, and we both felt truly stress-free when we drove home.
The spa is of the finest standard with a lot of expertly executed features, and a sense of calm and relaxation, while you are there.
They have rules regarding your conduct within the spa-area, and I for one really applaud such rules, as it keeps the overall experience that much more tranquil, when you don't have to listen to someone's music on their iPhone, or have to be annoyed with people who noisy or rude.
None of that here, so you can just focus on the experience.
The restaurants are of Michelin-worth in my opinion.
The rooms follow suit with the recommendations above, and the view from the rooms are stunning in the right light.

You should definitely visit, if you enjoy a good spa, food and a good nights sleep...

To be honest I didn't stay in the rooms, I just went to the viewpoint on top and then to the bar / café at the bottom. The viewpoint is awesome, you have to book it in advance on some website I don't recall the name of. The bar / café at the bottom was ok, nothing more nothing less.

For sure one of the best hotels in Denmark. Highly recommended 👌🏻🙂

My wife and I had a fantastic weekend at Alsik Hotel & Spa. Everything from our room, the service, the Nordic Spa, the food, the location, even the view was amazing. Really nothing bad to say at all. The hotel is dog friendly and we had our Westie with us. The staff brought him dogsnacks, water and even a pillow bed. We where really overwhelmed by the service and kindness by the staff through out the weekend.

We can definetly recomend this hotel and Spa (espicially the Nordic Spa experience)

Sønderborg is a beautiful city, and Alsik is a perfect way to visit it!

This review will be short because it is only for the Point of View.
Had to do this when I were in town anyway.
It is free and I can highly recommend others to try it, I urge others to try it. It may not be the Willis Tower of Burj Khaliffa, but the surrounding area here is way way more beautiful and exotic.
I attached a few pics, of course those shot against the sun are not top notch. But the view is still breathtaking.

One of the best hotels in Europe I have ever been! Great green building just in the city center. Comfy rooms, tasty breakfast and nice kitchen.

Quality of breakfast, comfort level of rooms, strong hairdryers, Wi-Fi speed, heating and cooling of the facility do not need any comments. You don’t need to look for any other place if you are planning to stay in Sonderborg.
Side note: breakfast is very vegan and vegetarian friendly, try not to skip it!
Side note2: look at the view, amazing isn’t it?

Great hotel, very nice location, rooms have great view. The attached spa is really relaxing with an outdoor infinity saltwater pool. We were not told or offered the ekstra floor that available in the spa, but heard it should be good as well.

very modern hotel in a quaint little harbour village. This hotel is massive with a separate spa. very friendly reception staff. room was good size with everything you might need. Best thing is the view. lots of soft furnishings. usb ports. socket by the huge comfy bed. fantastic shower. huge selection at breakfast for all nationalities. Only issue were the lifts, hard to go up to 5th floor when it stops before and guests want to go down. Sonderborg is a beautiful place. If you want to splash out then this is the hotel. 10 minutes walk from station.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.

Very comfortable room, bathroom with floor heating and good quality of materials and equipment.

Did also try the restaurant. Not bad, in fact, again pleasantly surprised.

Breakfast bufet was oppulent.

As for the spa, it's a bit over-boasted but not bad either. The pool is so-so for swimming, but great quality of all amenities again.

Highly recommended, just get a good rate :-)

We were here for the point of view. 10 minutes too late but luckily the employee helped us. You need to do the reservation for visiting the point of view. The views are fantastic. You can see Sødenborg from the top.

We had an amazing stay at Alsik - where we visited the Spa and Nordic spa and dined at Restaurant Freya in the evening.

Rooms and facilites was great, employees smiling and very service minded and the food was fantastic.

If you are staying here - remember to visit the Viewing-floor for at great view over Sønderborg.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff is great and super kind. The condition of the hotel is great and the rooms are different in design/layout which is interesting. The hotel has a nice spa/health section (though still under covid restrictions). At the breakfast buffet you can look forward to a very vibrant and varied assortment of delicious food. Overall would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location on the sound (Allusund)! On the waterfront with the promenade and close to everything in the area. Our suite had sunset views on clear days, and good views of the waterfront. It was a great stay. Thank you so much for having our room ready when we arrived!

The hotel is fairly new and everything is clean and in great shape. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access from the highway and easy to find. The indoor parking lot across the street is connected via a skybridge.

Our suite was ample-sized, with a large sitting area. Ottoman and a couch as well as a large desk with chair. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the motion detecting night light on either side of the bed was a nice touch to get back to bed after using the bathroom. Also liked that the suite had two 1/2 baths, separate. One with a double length sink and a toilet (with a heated floor), the other with a double length sink and a rain shower.

Breakfast was delicious, a wide assortment of everything you could ever want and a good selection of local items. Excellent coffee and tea. Friendly breakfast staff.

Spa was 295DKK for 3-hour use per person per day. Appreciated the enormous bath towels and warm robes in the room. WOW!
