Really nice cozy place!
We got a reservation when we called on the same day.
Also the area around is beautiful. Great service and value.

Really good view over the harbor and matching good looking food and yeast with accompanying good services.

On one side of the fjord they can cook (on the other .. it's not always a success). Nice to come over to the bright side :D Thanks for perfect kitchen and service!

We came here to celebrate our wedding and had a lovely lunch! With a simple reservation we got a delicious three course meal, with plenty of wine (our glasses were never left empty).

The service was unbelievably friendly and attentive! (thanks a lot Tamara and team!)

The ambiente was also very cozy, nicely decorated and had a great view to the harbor.

We and our guest were very happy with our choice!!

Value for money. The 3 cource meal at Værftet is a bargain.

Great Night.

I moved away from the Sonderborg area for 15 years ago and lost track of the local restaurant and entertainment scene in the meantime. When I returned to the area for a visit in the fall of 2017, I was looking for a nice place to take my date and friends and family recommended VÆRFTET.

Before going there I checked out their menu, which seemed promising with a good mix of traditional entrees added German dishes and fish dishes.

We went there on a quiet Tuesday night in November and were seated immediately by a friendly gentleman. The restaurant has great views of the water and piers from every table. I the center of the restaurant is a beautiful wooden boat which serves as bar/counter. The restaurant was clean and was cozily lighted.

My date and I both decided for the traditional danish dish called “Stjerneskud”, consisting of different type of seafood from Danish waters.

Before the dish was served, we got a small delicious salad. When our food arrived I was positively surprised of the large portion and the nicely arranged dish. But best of all was the taste and quality of the food - it was FANTASTIC. I have had this traditional dish a number of times and like it because I got a taste for seafood, but I had no idea the “Stjerneskud” could taste like this. This was by far the best “Stjerneskud” I ever had and cannot be compared to anything I have had in the past. As a matter of fact, my date and I had the same dish in an establishment in Sonderborg a few days earlier which was just “alright”, but VÆRFTET’s “Stjerneskud” was out of this world in comparison.

We took our time enjoying our delicious food and the atmosphere and were the only ones left in the end. The total bill for the food and drinks were DDK 350,- which was extreme reasonable for this great experience we had that night.

Ualmindeligt godt, og fantastisk personale der virkelig var opmærksomme.
Vi valgte at spise kl 17 pågrund af vi var afsted med vores 2 årige søn, da vi havde fået menukortet fik vi fortalt at de også havde 3 forskellige retter til de små.
De var hurtige til at spørge om vi ville have hovedretterne ud lige efter de havde serveret forretten, hvilket var guld værd når vi har vores søn med.
Vi fik en fantastisk aften med lækker mad, god udsigt og fantastisk personale.

Vi kommer helt sikkert igen, næste gang vi er på ferie ❤

Kleiner Yachthafen, umso imposanter das Restaurant. Klein, aber super chic. Nettes Ambiente. Kleine Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, dafür perfekt zubereitet. Netter Service, sehr aufmerksam. Das Servicepersonal kann dänisch, deutsch und englisch. Somit für jeden Besucher bei Fragen die richtigen Ansprechpartner. Komme gerne wieder.

Ein tolles Restaurant zwischen rustikal, gemütlich und edel, einfach zum wohlfühlen. Super leckeres frisches Essen und ausreichende Portionen, die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Sehr nettes aufmerksames Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können Sie nur weiter empfehlen👍💕

Utrolig lækker mad til en skøn pris. Betjeningen er fantastisk, og tjenerne er meget venlige og imødekommende. De "ping-ponger" også gerne med gæsterne.
