Vallø Castle

Beautiful castle with a massive park for a good walk. Good for summer barbeques, picnics and to play different sports. I go here all the time in all seasons of the year and it never fails to look stunning. Has a free parking lot right in front of the entrance.

Beautiful place. It has that "middle of nowhere" charm that makes you feel adventurous.

This is a beautiful "Slot" set in Parkside gardens. The castle is private, and there is no entry, but the gardens are open to the public, and people were enjoying the sunshine and having picnics in the park.

Excellent place to walk around, take the dog for a walk, or sit and enjoy the view. There are many walking paths surrounding the castle and big beautiful trees along the paths. There is an enclosed dog park where dogs can be off leash. Can be muddy on a wet day but still beautiful. It's beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

Lovely well kept parkland. Love walk and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views.

The park is nice and quiet and free to access. A lot of (in part imported, not native) trees and bushes. Very nice place for a stroll.

The greens also invite for a picnic, with a great view on the historic castle in the midst of the garden.

Toilets in the park are free to use and well maintained.

Free entrance to the castle gardens and if you're at the castle between 10am - 6pm you can enter the coutyard. Beautiful gardens and castle. Quiet and not crowded. Free toilets that are closed in the winter.

The castle is very elegance and beautiful. I love the surrounding of the castle, green, silence, love this place so much.
