Comwell Køge Strand

The hotel was so pretty, quiet, and comfortable. Very clean and they had a very nice, high-end line of soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms. But the food and beer at the restaurant there was phenomenal! I went for a work trip and had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there and everything they served was fantastic. It was only a 5 minute walk from the water with gorgeous surrounding views. I had a lovely stay.

Stylish hotel with high-quality furnishings, comfy beds and a very good breakfast. A great base to explore the area: Close to Kopenhagen, but also the town of Køge, Vallø Castle and Møns Klint are worth a visit. We stayed for 3 nights in a Superior Room. We asked for a room with a view upon booking and had a lovely view of the gardens with the sea in the background. The hotel is situated on a lovely garden with the beach just about 3 to 5 minutes walk away. We went for a stroll on the beach every evening (however did not go in the water due to the jellyfish). Parking was free, the atmosphere was relaxed and they always had chilled music on in the background which I liked a lot. All in all a lovely stay and I would recommend it. We did not try the dinner in the restaurant but had a few drinks at the bar which was very enjoyable. All staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel in the endearing town of Køge. You're a quick stroll from the Baltic sea. There are running trails, a small pier to dive off of and take a swim, and great outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Danish summer. The rooms are perfect if you're looking for a nice place to sleep. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and the lighting soft. There is a small sitting nook with a soft pad at the window. There is no AC, as it's not really necessary. You can sleep with the window cracked and be perfectly comfortable. If you forgot a plug converter, the front desk can help. There are even a couple of hotel cruiser bikes that guests can borrow to explore the area. The hotel also has a small restaurant and bar.
The typical Danish breakfast is outstanding with a selection of cheeses, meats, wonderful whole grain breads, three types of egg dishes, smoothies, juices, and of course coffee. The staff is really nice and speak English and Danish. I can't recommend this place enough. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Denmark.

This beach-side hotel is situated beautifully on the coast line of Køge Bay Beach with only about a 5 minute walk to the water from the hotel. The reception is a warm, inviting place with coffee bar you can help yourself too and the epitome of “hygge” with live candles welcoming you into the hotel. While not all rooms have water front views, the lobby, bar and breakfast buffet areas definitely do - and relaxing while watching the water, grasses and trees with a nice cup of tea or coffee is most recommended. I was there for a family party and the service was outstanding! From the waiters, chef and head waiter - everything was handled to perfection. The food was outstanding and wine complimented each of the dishes perfectly! The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was boasting with all kinds of food that could last you all day!! And the view was amazing!! Although I was not there in the height of the summer, I would definitely return for a weekend to enjoy the Danish summer!

For my work in køge center I've been at this hotel for 2 nights. It was around 10-15 minutes walking to the center. The rooms were very good. Nice big TV, good beds and a hot rain shower(large shower head). There is a gym you van use for free that is open for 24/7. Breakfast was also very good and the staff was friendly and helpfull. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location at the seaside. Located south of Copenhagen in a lovely old City Koege. The hotel has focus on organic food, sustainable sourcing. All good. Enjoy.

We had our wedding at Comwell and was very pleased. There were only a few things that could have been better, but we're talking of a very high level of success.

The meals were perfect. The room was perfect. The service was almost perfect. The concepts of a wedding/party there could use af few adjustments.

Dropped a friend off - was there for just under 30 seconds, so of course I'm qualified to review this hotel.

I give it 5 stars because I really like the car I was driving when I pulled up to the front entrance. Plus we had a nice dinner at home before we dropped my friend off at this Comwell Køge Strand hotel. Additionally, I feel like things are going well at work, and my wife and I enjoy spending free time together. All in all a stellar experience dropping my friend off at Comwell Køge Strand hotel. Looking forward to the next chance I get to drop someone off there, or maybe even just make a U-turn in the parking lot.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful Scandinavian design. Very nice and courteous personal at all times. Clean and well-kept interior. Uncomplicated handling in all matters. I can absolutely recommend this HOTEL!

Absolutely beautiful views and amazing staff... Great burger King not to far from the hotel....

Curtains were not long enough to block the sun light. Rest was amazing.

The rooms are very large and clean. Beds are firm but comfortable. The breakfast is really good and has a wide variety. The staff is friendly and parking is easy.
