Munkebjerg Hotel

A perfect stay. We felt so welcome as soon as we arrived.

Bedraggled and scruffy from a long drive we were immediately looked after at the front desk, and even our tired, cranky dog got a lovely welcome pack with a treat, waterbowl & blanket.

Room was immaculate, we washed up in a sparkling clean bathroom, and then the restaurant staff gave us a wonderful dinner service- such a treat.

THE BREAKFAST BUFFET. Really, really excellent job to your staff, it was, by far, the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen. Presented with care and attention, and every item was delicious. An extra thankyou to the bakers, that bread was truly a work of craftmanship. Whoever made that rye bread is a magician. My partner said the same about the sweet goods that she tried.

We arrived exhausted, and departed completely refreshed.

Beautiful Danish hotel in a great location. Stunning view from the hotel's and Treetop restaurants. Rooms are facing the woods, which gives relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean, spacious and we had all we needed (no mini bar or fridge though). There's also 3 hiking trails going around, if you are up for jogging or going for a beautiful walk in a forest.

This hotel might be worth to try just for breakfast! It has one of the best breakfasts I have tried in Denmark. They choose to do as much as possible home-made. Lots of variety: cold and warm dishes. Lots of seating areas and breakfast tables are filled all the time.

We had 5 course dinner at hotel's restaurant. No complaints 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 They also offer wine meniu, if you wish, or else ask the friendly staff and they will help you choosing the best wine to your dish. The staff was really sweet and caring - perfect service. Surprisingly big portions for 5 course meniu, wow!

The spa area was clean and nice. 2 jacuzzi's, steam sauna, swimming pool and separate saunas for men and women in changing rooms. The hotel also has a gym. Plenty of cardio machines, some strength training machines. You totally have everything for a quick hotel workout.

They are pet-friendly, too.!

Bonus fact: if you are up for trying your luck, give a try at spacious hotel's casino!

We stayed one night at munkebjerg hotel as it was a handy stop on route but it was actually really nice. We could have stayed a few days and done some of the walks around quite happily. Breakfast was good with a nice view over the fjord can't comment on dinner as we didn't have it but I bet it would be pretty good. Room was good too. No air con was a shame as it was quite a warm night but that's probably not normally a problem. Would definitely stay again!

Love everything about this hotel. Friendly Staffan, super facilities, good rooms and the view absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was really good but the food and service at restaurant needs working on!

And for the hotels name (which he loves how it sounds) he gave it a million points!

The location with wiev on the water, and into Vejle City, its. Beautyfull. The rooms are okay, and some of the rooms have no wiev over the water, but on the p-place for the cars.. The service and food in Restaurant Tree - Top is one of the best thing i have tryed, the are one of the best in Danmark to what they do.
Restaurant Panorama is okay, the food is tasting well and the service is both funny and very good.
Restaurant Jackpot, the restaurant in the Casino, is more like Cafe Food.. Burger, Club Sandiwich, Cæsar Salad, and you know.. The waiters in there are quickly, know what they do.. But people in here dont use lang time for the dinner, they are the to get some food, and play casino.
The hotel are a nice place to be.
With the Reception they have a Lobbybar, good place for a Cafélait, PiñaColarda, good glas of wine, whisky on the rocks, drinks og what you like. God start within dinner with a Coffee and cake, and aften dinner with maybe Coffee or a drink.
But.. For the price.. Use Restaurant Tree Top, and select 5/7 courves.. They will ask you to tru the winemenu for the food... Remember, they are some of the best in Danmark to what they do.. So if you dont like wine, ok, say no, but else, try it! :)

Beautiful hotel in amazing Forrest-area. The food is great and the staff is very polite and professional. There's a lot of different trails for walking, biking and horseback riding in the area. The food is amazing too.

Rarely you get such a luscious smile when you enter a hotel. It’s absolutely amazing. And the restaurant is incredible. Even if you just order food in the bar. Totally Michelin quality. My best recommendation to everyone 😊

It's a really good place!!! The staff are very nice and helpful. The massage were a big pleasure,and also the food it was soo delicious! Location is very good , there is so many beautiful places for walking and ridding a mountain bike!!

We stayed overnight at a professional event. The hotel is very gorgeous and situated very nice, the view over the fjord is amazing. The food at the restaurant is nice but not very good, I waited more, but the hotel is very nice

Nice hotel in the woods. The treetop rooms with balcony have a great view over the Vejle fjord.

Cosy environment close to nature and nice rooms. A lot of attention has been given to the interior with focus on high quality materials and providing a relaxing atmosphere.

The food is superb, the location is really nice. The rooms are well equipped but lack aircondition so it can be a bit warm.

Attended the annual Munkebjerg Hillclimb and visited the hotel at the same time. Was met by a simply astounding view and incredibly helpful service provided by the staff.

My stay here was wonderful. Great setting, very relaxing, and the hotel decor is just amazing!

Absolutely the best way to dine in denmark. You simply have to go enjoy the stunning view!
