Jelling Camping

Nice staff.
They have a huge playground for kids. Forgot to take picture.
The toilets are pretty nice. And the showers are FREE!. Love free showers. Nice and warm.
We stayed one day.

You should really check out the viking museum close to it!

Great campsite for families! Lot of stuff to do for kids, great minigolf course where the kids could buy the ball and use it the entire stay. Fun cars to pedal for all ages. The family showers where the best shower-rooms I have ever seen at a campsite! Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful! The warmed up pools next to the campsite are included in the price, you only have to leave a deposit. Great stay! Parts of the campsite got a bit muddy in the extreme rains, but I will gladly return here! Kids loved it to!

A perfect place for the whole family ! A lot of space and free activities for the kids, regular music shows, nice people running the place, just a few minutes from the museum and supermarket.

We stayed in a 6 berth cottage which was ideal for our family of 5. It was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The owners and staff are all brilliant, they went out of their way to help us; giving tips and advice on where to visit.
The location is great for Legoland and the Lego House as well as being close enough to drive to Aarhus and other areas.
The play areas (including air cussions, trampolines, play equipment and, my children's favourite; go karts) were fantastic and the outdoor swimming pools (no additional cost) were brilliant. We would highly recommend!

We had a great time here. The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you want to visit Legoland and we were amazed to find many interesting things in Jelling that we knew nothing about. The facilities are excellent and the games (mini golf, ice hockey, foosball and the trampolines) are great for both adults and kids. Thank you!

Super friendly people, nice tents, caravans, huts and cottages you can stay in! Or you can come with your own camper, caravan or tent.

Nice playgrounds for the kids and not to forget the nice pool!

And definitely go and try the food, my favorite was the Jelling Steak!😅

I miss the camping already!

Great place to stop for bicycle touring. I stayed in a small cabin. It was such a luxury after riding all day.

Owners and staff are very friendly. Great playground for the kids, with skelters jumping pillow, minigolf. And the bathrooms were so spacious. It was a pity we only had 1 night because kids loved it! And about 30 minutes drive to Legoland. We would 10/10 come back here!

A real family camping with a big and interesting playground and with free access to a heated open pool right next to the camping. Free go-karts that kids love and a mini-golf.
The kitchens were well equiped (stoves, cookers and a microwave) as well as tables and chairs for those that live in a small tent.

For those not interested in cooking, there was a restaurant and bar on the premises.

The owner was very kind and helpful, even going out of his way to make sure that everyone is satisfied.

It was close to Legoland and a walking distance from the Jelling stone and church (with a free Viking museum!).

Due to the proximity of the Billund airport, plane spotters might also enjoy watching the planes from the camping grounds.

Jelling Family Camping is a great spot for a camping trip.
The host is the most flexible accomodating guy - going out of his way to help you have a great stay.
We stayed in a cabin - very nice and clean.
The campground has an excellent playground with jumping pillow, trampoline, mini golf, table tennis, go-cars ex Best thing is it’s all free to use at no extra cost.
The cafe has really nice food and great beer 🍺
Can highly recommended this camping ground.

This is one of the nicest campings I've ever been to! This camping was the first and last stop on my tour through Denmark/Sweden and I will most definitely come back again.

This camping has the most ideal location in the beautiful town of Jelling. The owners are some of the most amazing and friendly people you'll ever meet and gave me some great tips on some sightseeing locations. Are you travelling and looking for some cool things to see? Dont hesitate asking them, they are so nice and have great tips!

The camping itself is amazing as well. It really is a family camping with big bathrooms (easy access and easy when handeling kids), which are always clean. The kitchen is equipped with 4 stoves (induction) and 2 ovens which you can use without costs. Outside of the bathrooms/kitchen there is a big playground with adjecent mini golf course. For the fire starters among us, there is a nice fire place which is amazing for campfires and roasting marshmallows.
There is a very nice swimming pool as well, which is free to use and has 3 different diving boards and a slide. There even is a small finnish sauna!Fresh bread is baked every morning and the restaurant is also quite nice!

The camping is located in Jelling, an amazing village with a rich history. The town of Jelling is about 800 metres from the camping and has a supermarket, museum (free access) and a beautiful little church with 2 huge rune stones. It certainly is worth visiting.

An amazing thank you to Peter for the stay on the amazing camping and the kindness with which I was welcomed. I had an amazing time.

Only stayed one night en route to Norway via The Lego House. Great campsite with amazing play facilities for kids and amazing kitchen (gas hobs included!) facilities for the adults. Friendly owners and reasonably priced.

The location, location and location is very good. When ever you ask they always try to give you an answer.
It's very good playground(s) for the kids. The camping have a good planing, the facilities and where the facilities are put on the camping.
Everything cost more than in Sweden. But I can't blame Camping Jelling for that.
Denmark are a bit expensive.

Fantastic place for travellers, near to Billund, in a beautiful and historical city. Camping is clean, kids friendly and not expensive (with showers and warm open-air pool included). Great to start bicycle tournée (owners had let us park our car for two weeks on their parking loft for free).

Easy to check in and out (only stayed for a day because we were travelling further into Europe)

Great service, lovely staff, clean and abundance of amenities, as well as access to the swimming pool, bike rental and bakery goods. Overall we had an amazing time here and would love to visit again.

Very plesant staff and owner. Good service important for Jelling Camping and they have many good tips about where to go and what to do. Viking artifacts museum which is unesco registered is nearby. The cabins are nice and clean. Simple but ok. If you are going to visit Legoland its just a 30 minute drive away. Thanks for the stay!

Very well organized family camping. Near to kongernes Jelling, fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and a lot of children's activities: minigolf, trampoline, slipline and mini cars. Staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Great place for families! Numerous attractions for kids: free karts, games room, minigolf, climbing wall, tiroll rope slide, jumping site, climbing on trees and swings. Impressive pool included in price. Camping site with lots of toilets, showers and public kitchen places. In our house there was a refrigerator, electric plate, coffee and tea machines, cold water, cutlery, plates and glasses as well as inside and outside tables. Important: Runnic ancient stones must to be seen in Jelling. Fast trains next to camping hard to be noticed. Peaceful surrounding. And at last: very kind people!

Very good family camping! The cabines are just what you need whith a young family with 2 kids.
The hospitality and service was great for a good price!
