Very friendly owners. Everything is clean. Campingsite is beautifull. Direct access to the lakes. It's very nice exploring the small islands by kayak.
You can use kitchen and kitchen equipment.
The bread is excellent but a little expensive.

We have had a wonderful time at this campsite. The view was great, the staff was very friendly and the nature surrounding this place is astonishingly beautiful. The toilets were clean and ok, although they are a bit old.
Overall, this is a great stay and we will come back!

Couldn't be much better. Clean, up-to-date facilities all around. The mini-golf course was a bit dilapidated, but that was only because the renovation company they'd hired had to delay. In return, it was free for now, so great service!

The owners are very friendly, nothing bad to say there.

The area is beautiful, with a huge number of walking paths. It's remote, yet easily accesible by public transit(train to Svejbæk, ferry from Ålekroen to the camp site).

If I had to mention some downsides, it would be the lack of control over water temperature in the showers, and the price of the ferry(33 dkk per pax). I'm sure that there a good reasons for both, but as a guest, it would be really nice to have some sort of discounted pass for the ferry.

Really great place for camping. The site is right next to a river in the middle of a very beautiful landscape. You can rent a boat and explore the waterways and lakes in the area which I strongly recommend. There is a small restaurant and also a small shop at the site where you can buy bread in the morning.
The staff was always very friendly and welcoming during our visit. Would definitely go there again!

Fantastic place. Good location, clean facilities, toilets and so on. We stayed in Vanheim tent. Friendly staff. The only thing is their dinner offer- Big plate Tapas can be a little bit bigger. It doesn't seem good value for 139 kr. But tasted good anyways.

Will definitely come back here.

What a really brilliant place. Exceptional customer service, great facilities in a stunning area next to a lake with frequent ferries to Silkeborg and sky mountain. Also has a lovely cafeteria that does excellent food. If only it wasn't so far away from home we would be there most weekends!

Fantastic location right down to the Silkeborg lakes and superb service from owners. We stayed in one of the glamping tents, which felt like pure luxury. Spacious and cozy - even with a little fridge and plenty of useful furniture and real bed. A must-try as alternative to cabins.

Great location, well equipped cabins, pleasant bar and cafe all run by a friendly and efficient family. The owners were very helpful to us on our first visit so we've been back and intend to return again. Great place.

Beautiful camp site (and dog friendly too) and super friendly owners. We also used the canoeing rental they have and went for a trip on the Silkeborglake (with dog).

Such a gorgeous place, on the water and in the forest! Really nice people, clean bathrooms, everything very efficient. Great with a swim in the lake!

Weekend tur med 2 hold venner - havde en fantastisk tur på den dejlige campingplads.
Rigtig fin service fra værtsparet til at finde en plads hvor vores forskellige overnatnings faciliteter kunne placeres.
Glæder os til at komme igen :)

Mooie terassen camping op een prachtig plekje in het merengebied. De camping heeft 2 aparte tenten velden vlak langs het meer. Auto's mogen het terrein op om uit- en in te laden. Sanitair is heel netjes, douchen gaat met een polsbandje met een tag. De camping beschikt over een keuken met allerhande gerei en kun je gebruiken maken van een grote koelkast. Voor een lekker kopje koffie op het terras kun je hier ook terecht. We hebben het hier erg naar ons zin gehad!

Schitterende locatie voor een camping. Met name als je van outdoor activiteiten houd. Je kunt er kano’s huren of je eigen SUP board te water laten etc. Goede gastenkeuken, prima sanitair. Bij mooi weer en dat is niet altijd vanzelfsprekend in Denemarken, kwestie van instelling, fabelachtige uitzicht, zonsondergang op het meer. Ruime plekken, goede voorzieningen. Een aanrader!

Wat een fijne camping is dit als je van natuur en water houdt. Wij waren er 2 nachten met de camper. Je kunt er makkelijk sup of kajak huren tegen betaling en gratis tafeltennis etc lenen. Het grote kampvuur plek aan het water is ook leuk om zelf aan te maken. Mocht je zelf geen bbq hebben, dan kun je ze gebruiken aan het plekje voor de receptie aan het water. Zou er zeker nog eens terug komen.

Overnattede ved stedet i forbindelse med vandretur - himmelbjergruten.
Lækkert sted med masser af muligheder (vandaktiviteter) lækker udsigt ud til vandet samt fælles køkken og toilletter er bare i orden 👌🏻
Serviceoplevelse er også bare tip top - gode vejledning, kommunikation foregik for meste af tiden via sms/mail pga høretab og det er stort for ikke alle (ejer/bestyrer) der har den tålmodighed.
